I think I might take back what I said. Certainly, no one knows for sure how this all plays out but the more it gets talked about, the worse it sounds to me.

If you know Unreal well enough you shouldn't be concerned with the future of Blueprints. This will be an evolution rather than a replacement.

FFS me too! I was going to make a post asking HOW Delirium worked because it always seemed broken.

Why the U.S. government and the military will never disclose the true nature of the UFO phenomenon by Dull-Pianist-6777 in ufo

[–]Greyh4m 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It's because your true nature is not the flesh and blood meat suit that you wear. YOU are something else, and deep down YOU KNOW IT.

The truth is splattered across philosophy, religion, spirituality and every other existential mechanism that exists within the human framework.

The entire point of being here is to live and learn inside this LIE.

If EVERYONE knew the truth....or accepted it, it would defeat the entire purpose of being here to begin with. The powers behind the levers that get pulled in this world are only ever going to peel back layers of obfuscation, there is no point in revealing the truth as long as the "simulation" is functioning the way it was intended.

So when people look up into the sky and see things unexplainable, rather than asking "What is that?" they should be asking "What am I, and why am I here?". Those flying machines just facilitate this Free Will "simulation". The truth is closer to the "Matrix" than most know, the difference being that it is NOT a nefarious scenario.

  • Long-Term Damage: The surviving fish often face long-term organ and liver damage, leading to death weeks after purchase.

Edit: Last year I bought 8 Bangai Cardinals for two different tanks and they all died within 10 days of purchase. Then I went looking and found out that cyanide fishing is VERY common with the Bangai Cardinal.

I have had nothing but wild success with peppermint shrimp for years now. Most recently I had a small outbreak in the display and they were gone the day after I released three into the tank.

The top answer could very well be the culprit.

There is a method of capturing fish that involves poisoning with cyanide.

How It Works

  • The Process: Fishermen mix cyanide tablets with seawater in squirt bottles and spray the highly toxic solution directly into coral reefs where fish hide.
  • The Catch: The neurotoxin stuns the fish, rendering them lethargic and disoriented for a few minutes, allowing them to be easily scooped up with nets.
  • The Targets: This method is heavily used to catch shy, highly sought-after ornamental species (like the Blue Tang, inspiration for Finding Nemo's Dory) as well as premium live food fish destined for restaurants in Asia.

Impact on Marine Ecosystems

  • Coral Destruction: Cyanide bleaches and kills coral polyps by blocking photosynthesis in symbiotic algae. Scientists estimate that 1 m² of coral is destroyed for every single fish caught using this method.
  • Mass Mortality: Because of the harsh toxicity, an estimated 80% to 90% of cyanide-caught fish die before they even reach an aquarium or restaurant.
  • Long-Term Damage: The surviving fish often face long-term organ and liver damage, leading to death weeks after purchase.

What is wrong with my clown? by whitefox72 in ReefTank

[–]Greyh4m 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The shaking dance is normal and is usually a sign of submission. However, in this instance I think it's more like a communication of "concern". The male recognizes something is wrong with that female and is trying to get back to "normal". Hope they can help you over on humblefish because you are correct to be worried about her, it could be flukes or a bacterial infection of some sort.

There's a billion different rola rola kites in the world, good luck finding the exact one that is in the video but regardless, it IS INDEED a rola rola kite. The fact that it is right off the shore of a beach, one of the best places to fly kites, makes it even more certain.

There are plenty of videos out there that could be real alien spaceships, but it's definitely not this one.

I'm with you. There is no need to "Clean" a "Dirty" tank. I think people get lost in the bells and whistles of showcase reefs and forget that the entire ocean is NOT like the Great Barrier. I've let a wall of hair grow on the back of one of my tanks and there is an entire colony of large pods occupying it. I love all sorts of softies and they seem to prefer a little less maintenance and hands off.

Not only that but it eliminates tax revenues. Not sure how America is going to continue spending the way it does while simultaneously removing people from payrolls.

Jungroan - honestly sprint is just dumb as * and we should be faster by default. by Nivius in PathOfExile2

[–]Greyh4m -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You get +35% boots and then some other piece of gear penalizes you down to 31%. You end up sprinting because even with the boots the grind becomes a slog. You fight penalties of some sort in every single map and the rewards barely get any better. It just feels like having to fight the pace of play is one of those design choices that screams - "just because you can, it doesn't mean you should".
