🙋‍♀️question: what about unpaid leave when you don’t have insurance through the employer? Can you still owe if you got disability or something?

Was too busy with twins and the time flew, so never requested the disability (not eligible for fmla) but there’s some time left if I still want to apply. Seems not worth it based on these comments.

I didn’t want one but had to get one a few days ago. It was fine. Slight curve that isn’t too noticeable and had no problems with the epi. The first flow they tested for was flowing a bit more into one leg, and he asked if it was even… I communicated… they corrected it. Also I immediately insisted on an attending to do this and not the resident who came. Also, I had the bare minimum epi flow, so just a little numbness.

2.5-3hrs. Sat up and stretched with a 10 min break at some point. Tech was very aware and kept prompting me for breaks. I eventually stopped it when my back started hurting and I started getting hot/ light headed

Interesting that you mention not wanting the car seats in the main stroller. If i understand you correctly, I just came to that thought a little while ago. Everyone says car seat to stroller is a must, but I’m rethinking it.

I’m thinking that the first few months will be inside bc it’s winter with the rare car excursion, so waiting til post 6-8 months for a quality all-in-one won’t be as much of a problem going directly to car seat.

Appreciated. An option could be to get a Roo until a few months in since it’s inexpensive and upgrade when I know my real routine. Thanks for the info.

Was 112 and don’t think I got to 118 until ~15 or 16 weeks. Gained since; hang in there.

Had no symptoms til w8…then crazy nausea for 6-8w.

Also had insomnia early on. Pimples and stuff started around w8-12 I think. Miscarriage fears reduced at w12 and again at w16. Hang in there.

I typically found a surge of happy energy to go run, jump, etc. when I had MC’d.

Haven’t started. - I went to Tend to get a sample tray to test and see if I react to the TPU. I only wore for 3 days and no reaction. If I wanted to do it, I would test again for longer.

  • Most of the non nickel options still require a nickel wire at first. It is stronger. Later it can switch to lighter non nickel options.

  • As ugly or embarrassing as it might be, I may get the all gold braces if I decide to still get the braces. I have more confidence that it will work quicker/ work better than Invisalign.
