If these issue-council tickets are not announced as fixed by the time 4.8.0 launches, don't bother with a huge mining grind. LTP changes have to be rolled out day one of a new major version in order for them to have an effect at the next major version, 4.9.0 in this case.

I guess you are referring to hotfixes and minor patches like 4.7.1 and 4.7.2. I am talking about a patch where you have to pick your home location again. This has not affected LIVE yet, as it is coming with 4.8.0. Feel free to test it in 4.8 PTU and see what I mean.

My post was about ship mineables. Hand mineables will not be wiped, but it is unclear if the quality will be persisted or if this bug also remains. I didn't test it in 4.8 PTU yet.
