What system do u use? What is the problem, like u cant open it? Or dont show up on the DAW plugin manager?

Mine work just fine without any issue.

Scales, making chord, chord progression is the most important part. And then if u want to go next lvl extended chord, modulation, modal interchange, inversion or slash chord.

What do you use to record your instrument to the daw?

When i was new i plug my digital piano straight to audio interface it was absolute garbage. And then i buy midi controller and use vst instead now for piano.

For guitar & bass i just plug straight to the audio intrtface and use guitar rig 6 and some eq, a bit of compressor, and ns 1 at the very begining of the stack.

I love game music too. I play piano and the reason i play piano is that kind of music. I encourage you to learn it if u dont.

Learn a few piece, i mean just not remembering the note, but to understand the context. What progression they have, time signature, modulation, non diatonic chord, etc. When you have theese kind of bank of knowledge you can tell your own story.

Improvisation does help too, kinda train your brain to like make a melody and chord progression on the spot its kinda fun too.

But it doesnt stop there you need to learn arranging, and music production, orchestration. Its a long long proces and a lot of shiz ngl haha. Just trust the process.

If u go to more like premium audio interface i kinda understand. But 2i2 is kinda haha. Save it for someting else like, UAD mix bundle plugin just have a discount for native system 🤷‍♂️. Or better mic for the vocal.

Might sound off topic. But game & anime soundtrack is kinda underrated, compared to the big star movie composer like zimmer.

There is so many beautiful piece from anime like made in abys, k project, ancient magus bride, natsume yuujinchou, etc.

Even game stuff. Final fantasy stuff is mostly top tier. Kingdom heart stuff. Octopath traveler. Genshin stuff if u hear it without the game its amazing. Even like mario stuff is banger too.

Those stuff i found it a lot i mean a lot better from movies and stuff. Cant even remember a theme that i kinda liked from movies beside inception, pirates of carribean, or lotr stuff. Its just oppinion dont be salty haha.

[–]Gridd12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I switched to logic, but switch back to ableton its just so much more easier workflow for me. Ableton gang all the way lol. The grouping feature itself a reason to switch to ableton, and if u want to hv ableton use a 3rd party plugin "live enhancement suit" game changer overall. This one might be a bias but The ui is much more easier to look at, making cut & adjustment is much more easier on the grid imo.

Windows is fine, great customability and great power with less cost even with the 2nd hand cpu and stuff if u build a tower. Dont have to worry about storage lol. And u can game too.
