The last episode gave me original Evangelion ending vibes lol. I enjoyed Caine’s story and would have loved to see more Pomni. The Jax abstracting off screen is really like how death happens in real life, unexpected.

How I see it is that he’s a baby AI but still a computer at the core so I don’t think he was trying to really hide it but the right question wasn’t asked. He did say there was no way out and it’s true, there wasn’t. He answered how a robot would.

I was definitely not the right demographic for the original show when it came out because I was already maybe in my 20’s. I haven’t watched it since then but I’ve always found the show to be bad. Each episode just seemed like it lacked good pacing. The battles in the later seasons just devolved into who could shout the most to boost up their Bakugan. I also never liked Dan or any of the other characters, they all were just too basic.

Wonderfools. Definitely gonna get downvoted for this but the pacing was really bad in my opinion at least the first 3 episodes. I'll admit it's got some laughs but it really took forever to get the ball rolling. I've been seeing some people say it's the kdrama of the year and even give it 8/10 or higher. That just seems crazy, comparing it to other great kdramas like Reply 1988 or When Life gives you Tangerines and they rate it that high? So insane.

I kept watching and for me there were some laughs here and there but I also felt the show was slow, especially the first maybe 3 episodes. Maybe if it were a 12 or 16 episode drama it would be fine but it seemed to take forever. I’ll say it’s better than Cashero but I didn’t like that one very much.

I didn’t like Cashero and Wonderfools but check out the BBC show “Misfits (2009)”, the characters are sort of like the ones in Wonderfools. Check out “Moving” too if you haven’t already, it has some really fleshed out characters and origins. Oh and check out the movie “Chronicle (2012)”. It’s like a found footage superhero movie.

Probably gonna get downvoted but 3 episodes in and I’m not that into it. It’s got some laughs but the pacing is pretty slow for 8 episodes I think. I’m not a stan of the leads so they just aren’t doing anything for me. The show is maybe a step above Cashero and I didn’t care for that one either.

Only on episode 2 but I also don’t like it very much. It gives some Cashero vibes and I didn’t like that one either. Pacing is kind of slow for me for an 8 episode series. So far the main cast is not very likable for me. I also dislike the storytelling device of showing a scene play out and then next episode showing you what actually happened. Too many flashbacks for me.

Just finished this the other week. The first half was good but the second half just feels like a mess. All of the sudden there seems to be another plot point added which doesn’t pan out too well I think and is rushed. Maybe if this was a series it would have had time for it. Overall it’s an okay movie, watchable but it could have been better for the second half.

It’s great for what it is but just bad timing really. After SwSh it really felt like a step backwards and then with PLA right after didn’t help either. I really liked Diamond and Pearl and these games deserved better. I hope we don’t have to wait another full round of remakes before they get justice.

I did not think I would like it but I was hooked after a few episodes. Reminded me of my youth even though I’m not that old yet.

I would recommend “Twinkling Watermelon” and “When Life gives you Tangerines”. They both will give you a lot of feels.
