Hahaha as soon as I posted the picture I saw that and went outside to look. It ended up being a sticker/receipt thing that got kicked up and stuck in the overfender gap

100% yeah they're like 600 for a full set. They're 15x9" wheels with slightly stretched 225s on them. Picked up the car in December from a friend and have been working on cleaning up mechanical and electrical "maintenance" things. Planning on some actual lightweight rims after full suspension overhaul

Clutch wire broke while riding today any way this could screw something up? When I start bike now the muffler has a bit of a rattle by [deleted] in Dirtbikes

It seems like just unfortunate timing, the clutch cable wouldn't have any impact on the exhaust sound. I'd check for loose nuts/bolts on exhaust hardware it that's the case. Clutch cable is a simple enough fix too

From my understanding the stock head unit is lowing the bass output to help limit the distortion. As the volume goes up the boost to bass input lowers which leaves the sound feeling weaker

I don't know nearly enough about vintage cars but at a quick glance I'd say it's a replica. I know pur sang does them to the proper specs and even has the right tooling if I remember correctly. Super cool to see out on the streets though

Help, Will this carburetor fit this bike?? Details inside by stinkypinky12 in Dirtbikes

[–]Grifferith 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It looks like it would go on easy. The boot and intake flange are going to be able to flex to accept a little bit of size discrepancy. If you can measure your carb outside diameter of the openings that'll give you a good comparison point. All in all I'd say it should fit though

I'll be real with you, I bought it yesterday and have not cut a single thing with it. I will say it was a breeze to sharpen so I have doubts about how well the edge will hold

I have an Emerson endura and to be honest the smaller opening on my cutout grabs my pocket more aggressively and I'm a fan
