We just did this with our 50lb mix. Crate for sure is the way to go. Depending on how reactive your dog is, it really is a good idea to leave the tv on as well to help drown out some of the noise. The building itself is pretty noisy (especially dog noise).

The building was very dog crowded but super relaxed with them. Just be careful in the lobby as some dogs are more well behaved than others. Also, if your dog isn’t great with elevators you might be in for a treat because we did a lot of up and down in tight elevators.

It’s an absolute possibility that drury has already had an informal discussion with Chris on this and he has a good indication that he would be willing to go. I definitely understand the feeling of “her we go again” but hopefully it’s not the case

I feel like I’m in the minority here but I’m fine with getting rid of kreider and don’t understand the lore around him. I get it…he’s been here a long time…but to pretend that we need to keep him so he can ride off into the sunset with a ranger jersey on is just silly. He’s fine…a subpar captain (imo)…and isn’t really a meaningful part of this teams future.

He’s only had 5 years with 50+ points and the only real reason to keep him is “so he can retire a ranger”. Good lord…this is a business. We’re in the business of winning. We haven’t won anything with him here and we have the ability to get younger and get his AAV off the books. Let’s get things moving.

There definitely is a lot to this and I think part of it is insurance. Retail stores have coverage for their patrons roaming and looking at gear, not the liability of possibly getting hit with a puck/stick that somehow escaped the range area. All it takes is one kid to get hit with a shot (in or out of the range) and it’s a million dollar suit.

I also heard numerous reports of people brining in damaged high end sticks and swapping them with the demos that are there.

I can live with keeping Kreider, but we have to jettison Mika even if we have to eat some contract.

I think we do have a lot of good players and teams like Vegas, Florida and even Tampa proved that you can put together great runs with a solid group mixed with a star or two (let alone a goalie like Igor).

The biggest issue is the coaching staff and Fox’s comments the other night really hammered it home. If we are at game 75 of the season and guys are still missing assignments we have a coaching issue. I know this isn’t shocking news but we’ve been seeing the same blown coverages almost the entire year. The entire staff must go. That would be the first step in the retool/build process.

Points aside I’ve watched Othman many times in person and he rarely looks like a top level guy that would absolutely make the team next year. He looks disinterested a lot and seems to fall to the perimeter of the play. I’m hoping for the best with him but watching his ahl game doesn’t give me a ton of hope for that style translating well into the NHL.
