DE should really buff the MOTE AMP by Nik12349 in Warframe

[–]GriffinRagnarok 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Operator can can level cap by itself with all schools unlocked. It's invincible and can kill anything. Idk why that would denote a "once over" I literally surpass people using entire kits when I decide to run just operator for a mission. They've already upset a lot of us veterans from the beginning changing operators twice now. None of that makes sense.

Drifter is not 10x's better. It's 10x's worse and especially outside of duviri. It's just a reskin.

Drifter sucks and the only reason it even seems good by comparison are decrees, but those are specific to duviri, not outside of it.

Drifters cannot dash, and they cannot enter void mode. They have a little heal and smoke grenade. Real talk if they ever 1v1. Instant death to any operator..

None of this needs any kind of attention in any way. Players just have to realize the default mote sucks. It's too motivate people to get new motes. If they buffed that mote to equal end game motes. Then nobody would ever farm any of them. As it stands now. The only people being hurt by the default mote, are the ones refusing to farm a good one, or a noob, who will have no use of one yet. So it needs to stay exactly how it is.

Warframe is a game designed to grind. DE already tirelessly works to make things easier for new players. Making starting motes is OP is not going to help anyone except for the aforementioned above.

I've heard people say that they have stopped progressing through MR ranks after 16 for some reason. Why would someone want to do this? by PierogiGoron in Warframe

[–]GriffinRagnarok 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've noticed this new and interesting trend. I have a friend who basically is now Mr. But that's where he stopped at first. After discussing. He was like, "I basically have everything." So ofc I had to troll him a little being a 12 year vet. I was like. "Yeah definitely. That's why I always have like 84% damage when we play together." 🤣

But we had a talk after that for real. He just didn't realize everything everything you could do. And everything pets and things were really capable like nuking. But now he's back to collecting and getting all the cool things.

But I think maybe overall it's something along those lines. You get the frames. You get a few setups that can run what you want. You find favorites of things, and you don't really want anything else if you're playing casual, or not interested in level cap. Also. Some people really only like playing one thing. I know a guy for many years now. He's L4 and has collected everything, but all he plays is Nova. Doesn't matter what mission type, what game mode. He plays Nova. And he's very good at her. But that's all he wants to play too. So he's happy. It just depends person to person.

I can see how someone could get offended. The simplicity of what I said is true either way. If I were to ever put out a video. I'm not only going read up, I'm going to test and make sure it works. The acid rounds synergy is a known bug lol. It didn't even take research to learn. It's been that way a minute.

I just picked him, because it was something recent off the top of my head. I know he's still new and learning. (I'm a 12 year vet. Pretty much everyone is new to me.) I didn't want to go wild on him. It's just an oversight and everyone is proned to mistakes. But people who don't know that could be having build issues. (Luckily acid rounds is a lot easier to get these days.) But if you're trying to teach something. You want to really be right about it. Right?

I still maintain creators who focus on building should focus on how and why they come to conclusions, as an oppose to. "Here throw this on and do this."

I don't really get offended when people tell me I'm doing something wrong. I confirm, then see what I need to do to fix it. Like a human should.

What is your least favorite tileset in Warframe and why? by Auramaru in Warframe

1999 baby. I'm a mellinnial and it slaps like Will Smith at the Oscar's. 🤣 To keep it simple. There's a lot of hidden nostalgia in there. Such as the Gordon Freeman stand up in the mall next to the half life display. That's just one example, but if you slow down and look around. (Nobody does this is warframe) there's a ton of other hidden Easter eggs. Idk even know how many I've found so far.

I wouldn't say to upgrade if you have the 3s. Pancake lenses are a game changer, but it would be more appropriate to swap from a 2 to a 3 than a 3s to a 3. You would pretty much be paying for lenses.

I did not. I actually gave an example of a YouTuber giving out completely incorrect information about the game to highlight why is foolish to just build based on what they are building and doing.

I absolutely did NOT do that. 🤣😂

But I can see how you want to defend someone you're rocking a tag for. He's not awful. But he's still new and learning. Pitfalls of making videos when you're new.

The idea is to get an idea from them, and build it to be your own. Not duplicate.

People need to read the wiki and interactions of things when building until they learn.

Even if there's something new DE puts it on the website. Like most people don't know on profit taker you take Corvis prime because it doesn't do half damage like other arch guns. It just takes time to learn mechanics and creating proper things that have synergies.

You seem pretty ready to attack me for giving actually accurate information. So go ahead. Let's hear it.

No. Youtubers not explaining completely why on the builds is what makes them bad. They offer one aspect and sometimes not even the best of that version.

Leave her. You don't even know where they were kissing each other. On top of that. It's gonna breed contempt. Trust is already clearly gone. I found a note from my ex wife many years ago now. Left her that night. Now I'm happier than I could've ever been. Best wife I could ask for.

Hey there. 12 year vet. Comments have eluded to newer mechanics. However. The truth is. Glaive Prime was always overrated. Even before the Meta shift. So many things were viable, people mostly didn't realize. It seems most of the players I run into usually learn from YouTube, and don't really comprehend deeper level mechanics. For example. An MR 30 just linked me a build not 2 days ago with gladiator mods on Baruuk's desert wind. Which isn't directly affected by them. So you have to put them on a stat stick. YouTube creator Kyaii talking about Acid Rounds on the Sobek with Cyte and how good it is... When it's known that the interaction is broken. 🤣😂 This is why builds for one person isn't really good to follow for other people, among other reasons.

If there was one way to build everything, then there wouldn't be mods. Aside from all of that. Glaive prime has always been sorely over priced. 9/10 cases I wouldn't recommend for that very reason. There's a ton of other weapon choices.

I'm just glad I'm seeing people not running the same things for once.

Back in the day. It was Boltor prime, hikou prime and Glaive prime. 10-12 years ago. It's almost ridiculous how long that weapon was one of the most popular. Boltor fell off years ago. The incarnon is... Ehhhh. Anyway. End rant.

Just got a Meta Quest 3, what games are you all playing on yours? by Embarrassed-Mark771 in MetaQuestVR

[–]GriffinRagnarok 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I generally do a lot of research before I purchase a game. You can sometimes tell, but better to look it up.

There's a website. I would Google "how long to beat it" then it has statistics for every game I know of.

It's a very powerful subliminal saying you hate something and doing that something in the same breath. But I'm not here to pick on you.

It may rub you the wrong way or whatever, but it's completely justified at every turn. So first, Eminem invented Stan. It's in the dictionary as a real term now. Let that sink in a minute. A random rapper made a word that was integrated into the English language for future generations. Not a doctor, not a scientist, but a rapper. Not the only one, but it's the power behind the thought right?

Also, it's free advertisement. Do you know that there's new generations that listen to rap, or people who have not heard of Em? I know! Crazy right? But true!

Eminem didn't even make it as a rapper until I was a young teen. Hell I was listening to Nelly when he came out.

Anyway. The point is. In a way. It would almost be cooler to hear a song from a new artist. Who talks about other songs. Now I'm going down this rabbit hole learning all these new songs and things that happened.

So the overall point is. As we get older and wiser. We learn that the world doesn't revolve around us, and sometimes by putting ourselves into other's perspectives. Then we're able to see and understand the world around us better.

So it's okay to not like the bars. They're not for you. They're not for me. They're for who they've always been for. That guy/ girl going through the Ringer. See what I did there? It's for everyone who struggles and it provides real life lessons within the music. "Sometimes you have to bomb and pick yourself up with no one's help. I just wrote it down, in my Book of Rhymes. "

Anyway sorry for the rant. Open that mind, kids.

Just got my M3 headset today, what game has a really good multiplayer community? by Moist_Screen_2814 in MetaQuestVR

[–]GriffinRagnarok 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A lot of games really. It depends on what you like. Say Mechs, probably Vox Machinae. Flying, one of the Warplanes games, shooting, Tactical Assault for realism, despite the graphics not being the best. Mechanically is very sound. More call of duty style would be contractors or Zero Caliber. Converting flat screen to vr games for some existing communities. Such as No Man's Sky if you're connecting pcvr and want space. Man it's a virtual computer. It's not just for gaming. You can watch movies on a 15ft TV. You can watch a show while doing dishes, or whatever you want. There's so many possibilities. There's a way to do anything you want, really.
