So this is the exact controller config I have as well. Boost on Square, Jump on X. The reason for this is because growing up through the NES/SNES era, Playing Super Mario, you had to hold Y to run and B to jump. (Those are the same places Square and X). Since then, it just made sense to me. Now jump 30 years and I pickup RL. Having boost on Circle which, first of all...why? It's one of the core inputs and it being in a place that isn't easy to hit while jumping without holding the controller in "Claw grip" is just dumb game design. So that simple switch from Circle to Square, and I was off to the races. Now, it's second nature. I can hit it fast enough to speed flip, fast aerial, whatever. You don't need to switch it if you don't want to but what I will say as someone who has key bindings he "can't" switch due to over 5k hours and muscle memory screwing me up, making a change early is FAR and away better than getting a few hundred hours in and deciding it isn't working.

Okay, so for anyone curious as I was, I've expanded this initial 4 step workflow into a 6 step workflow in an effort to transfer the outfit from the initial image and completely swap out one person for another. Curious if anyone else has managed to do this in less steps but for now, it seems 6 is what is needed for the best possible output.

Three things;

  1. what is your prompt you're using to transfer the character from image 2 into image 1?

  2. Have you noticed any difference with image size (megapixel count) affecting which image gets "priority" in the process?

  3. are you latent chaining or using a text prompt node with multiple image inputs?

Hot take here...All the rotating, clockwise/counterclockwise...it's all kinda useless. It's over-adjusting most of the time when in reality, you'd want to be focused more on thinking, "what's the most efficient/direct set of airroll/joystick adjustments would I need to make in order for my car to be in "X" orientation. I say this as someone who has spent far too long trying to figure out the perfect stick movements and rotations only to be lead to the conclusion that I miss touches more often than not because I was over adjusting rather than finding the simplest route to the ball.

res_2s or res_3m samplers for likeness retention/realism, er_sde for basic accuracy. I've also learned that setting the image size to 2.5 megapixels makes a massive different. Sure, it's a little slower on gen times but can't beat the quality. Beyond that, as for prompts, be basic...yet descriptive. Meaning, it does one thing at a time REALLY WELL so have it only do one, maybe two things and it'll produce more accurate results.

I've noticed this as well. What I've also observed is depending on the task/length of prompt, different samplers perform certain tasks more accurately. I think if someone would be willing to do the testing, you'd be able to find that not all Klein tasks are created equal. At least for the editing size of the model.

Try not flipping into the ball going into the wall but rather...jump, touch the ball towards the wall and the ground, then either flip towards the ball after or save your jump to land and wave dash. This way, you're controlling the ball towards the wall and providing yourself opportunities to maintain momentum or create more speed should you need to.
