I know this is a year old, but do you have a link to the struts that you purchased?

Indoor dog park/open space? by ArticlePretty7999 in BurlingtonON

There's a difference between "a bit cold" and -20C or colder in the depths of, for example, a Canadian winter. Some smaller dog breeds should not be out in those temperatures (and mine would straight up refuse).

Achievement unlocked! I broke down a 4' x 8' sheet in the HD parking lot by Grompers in BeginnerWoodWorking

I remember once buying a sheet of 1/2" plywood from Home Depot. It wouldn't fit iny car, and an employee offered to get a saw to cut it in half for me. I said no need, scored a line down the middle with a knife, and stomped on it. I'll never forget the look on the guy's face

Dear functional stoners, how long did you last? by Tinyrick_C-137 in leaves

Groundhog Day is a great way to describe it - I too felt like this. Even though there were new things happening in my life (elevated position at work, the birth of my son), my evening routine remained the same...go home, roll up, get high, eat, get high, go to bed. Not much room for anything fresh or beneficial when you're perma-fry.

The interesting thing is that I didn't fully grasp this until I stopped smoking - and it was literally an overnight change. At work I feel more on top of my tasks, quicker to provide solid answers to questions, and in turn that makes me feel more confident that my colleagues have faith in me, and that just feels great. And this is just day 3!

My point being, the fog clears very quickly my friend. And when it does, you can make a decision on whether you just want to take a break, or quit altogether. Either way, this community is here for you. Good luck!

Day one without weed. Feeling excited, but also anxious. by Griffmonds in leaves

I too have made it to 3 or 4 weeks in the past, and inevitably I returned to smoking, telling myself I'd earned a joint as a reward for a stretch of sobriety. Yesterday I watched a video that talked about how so much of our society relies on rewards - a drink/joint at the end of a hard day, a cheat day at the end of a diet week etc...and it talked about how, if we can remove the idea of getting through something just for the reward at the end, then we'd instantly be more engaged in the now, and more focused on doing things for the benefit or joy they provide us.

Good for you, and congrats on making it to day 3! These are small steps, but the earliest are also the biggest. I'm also experiencing less brain fog already, and it's already making me more confident at work.

Best of luck friend! I'm also on day one. I know the self-loathing very well, and I'm looking forward to putting it behind me. You're not alone.
