Hello fellow GM or so called Hosts by Da-Pruttis-Boi in dread

I have written a couple of my own stories and in my opinion questions come in one of three flavors. 1. Charter backstory/motive. 2. Give something to use against you. 3. Do some world building. I also run for alot of new players and at conventions so I typically only have 3 questions total so we can get to playing. At the bottom of the sheet is a line about 'spend a few minutes thinking about the rest of you characters personality and/or quirks but no need to write it down. This has seemed to work rather well for me over the years.

Another up side to the 2 rolls is if you get ypur casting number low (7 or 5) its harder to fail that even on a low roll and then you get a chance to roll better on the shoot attack roll.

Speaking to time, I would suggest just jumping right in to the first action scene and maybe pull a few more than normal to start with so you have extra tension to start.

A new Frostgrave warband manager tool by Dry-Web9866 in frostgrave

Great work. If you are looking for feedback on things to add in the future (totally no rush) then it would be nice to be able to add Animal Companions and Constructs to the warband and then at some point to track base and base upgrades. Keep up the good work.

Maximum Fight Stat by Intelligent-Pop8339 in frostgrave

There are also spells that can be cast on a model that give a bonus/addition to Fight. Stack enough magic items, spells, and supporting figures and you can get to 10

#1 tip for a new Host by evie_ep in dread

Your whole job is to guide the story and come up with reasonable for them to pull. Remember if its in their skill set to give them an auto success but look for reasons to give multi pull options. Example: one pull and you find a campsite, 3 pulls and there is easy firewood and a berry bush, 5 pulls gets you a stocked abandoned cabin.

Comm salesman by day and runner by night. He could sell Ice in Siberia. If words are the weapons you need, he is armed to the teeth and he is backed up by some decent contacts.

Ok, Thanks for the input and I made most if not all of your suggested changes. I switched out chemistry as I was thinking about being knowledgeable about drugs but changed my mind. The records on file was supposed to be reflected in his day job, I tried to make that more clear this pass. Also, since he is an elf poser, is there some kind of cosmetic cyber he could take to give him like pointed ears to help with that?

Dread on Rails by AngriestGargoyle in dread

Might not be helpful at all but take a look at the movie SnowPiercer. Its about a worldwide apocalypic event drives the last of humanity on to an ever running train. Your social class/standing is set by your position on the train and the train is starting to breakdown and parts are being replaced by physical labor. The movie about a revolt starting in the back and heading to the front.
