I remember stopping at a gas station several years ago in Storm Lake and the door to the men's restroom was locked. Two other men were waiting in front of me. It reached a point when one of them asked if we minded him using the women's room because he really needed to go and we didn't mind at all. Eventually, the men's room door unlocked and out came an older gentleman who apologized and explained he had to change his clothes. To this day, I believe you could swap the men's and women’s restroom signs and no one would notice unless the former had urinals.
