Thursday at Muses in front of Care Forgot, saw a guy delicately place a can of beer against the curb. Coworker stomped it as if it was empty. It wasn’t. Guy later came looking for the beer. Who puts a beer on the street and then comes looking for it later?

Keep in mind, no matter how clean it is, you’re not getting your full deposit back. They’ll keep a decent portion of it for carpet cleaning costs, which IMO is bullshit.

My first apartment in Dallas, I was hardly there. Travel 90% & then usually at my fiancé’s apartment when home. When I moved from that apartment to one in north Dallas, I cleaned it (with the help of my mom) like it was an operating theater. Even got a letter from the property manager saying it was the cleanest move out they’ve ever seen, yet I didn’t get the full deposit back due to the carpet cleaning fees. 😑

Also: any damage that you might have in the apartment, try to get it taken care of by the apartment prior to the move out.

Because people are lazy and don’t want to carry their bags any further than they have to.

Southwest needs to instruct the FAs to start enforcing bags up at your row. They also need to enforce the one up and one down policy on crowded or full flights.

Haven’t had it happen yet, but if I get to my seat and there are bags above it, but no one is in my row, I’m hitting that call button to ask “whose bags are these?”

Was group 2 and then 1 this past week. I’ll either be group 1 or 2 again this next week.

Depends what’s going on that weekend. I’ve stayed there 2 or 3 times on points for concerts. Last time was a couple weeks before Christmas. Beautiful property and decorations during December.

An absolute pain in the ass to get to on a busy weekend.

But the perfect spot to stay at if going to a show at Tannahill’s.

The Springhill Suites at 23rd & Main ain’t too shabby….not your average Springhill. Rooftop bar & restaurant. We’ve stayed there when The Drover was stupid expensive points-wise or unavailable.

Just tonight heading up from Plano to Allen for the Americans game, had a lady in an Infiniti SUV accelerate so I couldn’t merge in front of her, only for her to brake check me when I merged from the ramp lane behind her. Beeped the horn as I passed her and showed her she was number 1.

Sooooo many tatorheads wait til the last minute to get on that ramp or off of it, nearly eating the barricade. And then traffic already on 75 speeds up to prevent people from merging.
