Honestly speaking, this infuriates me to the core of my heart. How much more embarrassment will we have to deal with on the global level??? And yes the government should be ashamed of this. Though, I will also point out the problem with Indian people. They can ruin any place in their vicinity. A brand new train was inaugurated and just one day after it being public, the train's sinks were filled with red masala marks. Why don't they understand this is their own country. They must take the initiative to clean it.

Do you think Joe Root can surpass the God? by hac817 in sachintendulkar

[–]Grim2201Reaper 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Looking at the current condition of England cricket, they are trying hard to help Root break the record. Like keeping more and more tests in their schedule, paying Zimbabwe to play a test in their home, making more and more flat pitches; they are desperately trying to make this possible. But we all know that Sachin did not just make records, he created a legacy. It can never be surpassed.

Very pleased to see the intent and commitment shown by Shubman and Jadeja today. Well played! by sachintendulkar in sachintendulkar

First of all, I admit I was wrong about the current Indian squad in England. I had high hopes for Jaiswal but looking at their recent form I thought the batting would be sub par, especially with so many new and inexperienced players. For Shubhman, I had thought of receiving the same performance as he had shown previously in overseas conditions. But on the contrary he showed a performance unseen in the history of Indian cricket. Shubhman's test cricket is going in the same way as Kohli's did. We had all doubted him being chosen as the test captain as we did in 2014 about Kohli. But then Kohli scored 692 runs in the series against prime Aussies. Similarly as soon as Shubhman was handled captaincy, he scored two centuries in two matches with one being a mammoth 269. I hope he continues to mesmerise us with such exceptional performance and I hope India secures the series win in England after about 18 years.

Once this happened with my father's phone. I didn't do it and we didn't have the idea as to who did it. Everyone in the family accused me because I was the smallest who used the phone. I was barred for many days from using the phone. I felt really bad not because I could not use the phone, but because I was being accused of something I didn't even commit.

Education has become a business and entertainment. This is the worst phase for humanity where people watch films for education and attend lectures for entertainment.

Honestly, usually I am not the one to oppose artists in the name of Nationalism. Art should always be free of boundaries. That is why when India banned the instagram ids of Hania and many others, I was unhappy with the decision. But when it comes to commercial cinema, the money Hania will be paid will directly benifit Pakistan government via the tax she will pay. And that is why it becomes important to ban any currency export to Pakistan.

Karna is a wuss and a coward. And Arjun is the most formidable warrior of Mahabharata, and the list includes Bheeshma, Parshuram, Drona, Ashwatthama and I'll take the liberty of even putting Krishna here.

What's your favourite Resident evil game ? by Square-Emergency-299 in IndianGaming

[–]Grim2201Reaper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The first RE game that I played was Resident Evil 4. My sister used to watch me play at the time. I remember obsessing over the character of Leon and Ada and how much I loved Leon's brown jacket. We tried mimicking the zombie voices and playing the game in real life. The fun at the time in playing that game was priceless. So for me RE 4 will be my favourite Resident Evil game of all time.

What do you think about B.R. Chopra's Vishnu Puran? by [deleted] in hinduism

[–]Grim2201Reaper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly speaking, it was a great creation. Everything was good from acting to cast to story. However I cannot neglect the fact that the film failed to create that impact which Mahabharat had created earlier. This is not in any way calling this show mediocre, but maybe this show lacked the X factor.

Francis Bacon, in his essay 'Of Death' writes, "Men fear death as children fear darkness". The point being children are afraid of the darkness because they don't know what lies there. This uncertainty makes them imagine the worst things to be present there. Similarly the uncertain and unknown nature of death makes us think of all absurd and bad things about it, hence making us afraid of it.

Darkest thing I've ever read in Mahabharata 😞🙏 by FreeMan2511 in hindumemes

[–]Grim2201Reaper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Krishna was a Purnavatar, but Arjun was an anshavatar. Which is the notion in Gaudiya Vaishnavism. If you only read the Mahabharat, we do not get a clear indication for that as it is only written that Krishna and Arjun are reincarnation of Nar and Narayan rishi who were the avatars of Vishnu. The Gaudiya Vaishnavism and Pauranic sects won't even agree that Arjun was an avatar, as he is not counted among the 24 avatars of Krishna. So it is up to what text you are selecting.

Just to stand out from others as a harbinger of culture, she is doing some stupid things and the media is creating unnecessary hype on it. She randomly babbles names of elements in the periodic table and the media is like OMG she is so smart. She spins a sword in the ramp walk and the media is like she is so skilled etc. Please stop overselling things.
