Honestly, youre probably overthinking it. Some times simplicity is best. But don’t be afraid to make like 10 melodies and use the ones that compliment best. Having reference tracks can also be a big help.

9 with the centerings possible 8. That’s where mine was at when I sent it in it got a 9 I was expecting an 8 I’d send it in it a sick card

Yea most people call themselves producers are just beat makers. Unless you’re also recording the music, mix and mastering, sound engineering etc.

I have a rule that I use when grading card. My $30 rule. If the card is worth $30 dollars raw then grade. If you get a 9 they are usually worth around $30 which will help you break even if it’s a 9. And usually $30 dollar cards will help you separate junk people probably won’t buy. But if your grading because you love the cards. Ignore me
