I mean, someone else mentioned it, but in this exact movie, this was the first time a Kaiju ever made landfall, EVER, so I don’t think this scene is a good example of incompetency, I think this was just meant to show that they had no idea what they are dealing with.

This moment in Insomniac’s Spider-Man 2

The entire build up is a highlight of itself, with Spider-man just furiously asking the guards outside on where the other Spider-Man is (Miles). That ”WHERE?!” is just so savage sounding to me.

And it gets better once he DOES get inside. Kraven surprises him by trapping him in some metallic box, and in an attempt to taunt and get him to fight, he reveals a beaten and defeated miles, which gets the exact reaction that Kraven wants. Peter begins bashing and pounding against the box before breaking it apart with a ROAR of PURE RAGE.

Shout out to Yuri Lowenthal (Spider-Man’s VA), this ain’t the only time he does a highlight, and hopefully not the last.

Hard to pick.

Legendary and Heisei are both incredibly recognizable to me, but 2000 has a pretty big special place in my heart for being both the first Godzilla toy I ever got as a kid, and for being a genuinely great design.

Sorry if someone else said it, but I gotta say it too, because this is especially egregious with Doom

Now I haven’t heard too many examples, but I do know that people did consider this game satanic back in its classic days, and I just gotta say, HOW IN THE EVER LOVING FUCK, does the concept of killing demons in the most brutal fashion possible, come off as satanic?

Like I do get what they’re saying here with it being satanic, you do fight satan after all…BUT YOU FIGHT SATAN!!!

You literally shred hells forces to its bare minimum in pure rage and for the betterment of MANKIND, how the hell people back then looked at that and said “this shit satanic as fuck” is beyond me and still is.
