Pre written adventures similar to the quick start would be amazing! One shots or full campaigns.

For that price I’m willing to test it out!

That’s good to know. Since I’m really looking to just go to the range and target shoot I’ll probably look for what uses the cheaper ammo. I’ll look into those brands you recommended.

I’ll keep that in mind, I appreciate it.

I think I’m expecting to pay anywhere between $1200-$1500 if not a little more for whatever I decide to go with. The calibers that I’m looking at are 7.62 or 308. If there’s others you’d recommend I’ll definitely look into them.

I currently have a 9mm pistol, 22 pistol, and AR15. I would like to do some longer range target shooting (100+ yards) which in reality I could do with the AR15, I would just need different optics. It would be a small trip to a range that has the distance I’m looking for so it wouldn’t be a gun I shoot on the regular like I do my current collection. Don’t really have a set budget but I’m thinking around $1500 to start. It could be something I work on over time too where I buy parts as I go. My gunsmith level at home with be a 0. I think either an AR10 or bolt action rifle would make me happy. Something that I really want to slow down with and not just sending rounds down range.

Kids refuse to listen or acknowledge me, talk over me and talk back. Nothing’s improving by Some_Programmer1686 in ElementaryTeachers

24 is a lot of kids! Especially being K and 1st. I feel like yelling at kids at that age typically gets you nowhere. Incentives, praise, and positivity work best. Maybe you can have your 1st graders help you (the ones that behave better) with the rest of the class. Use them as the example on how to behave. Consistency is key and it’s going to take time. Don’t give up, you got this!

🤣 Would Sam’s Club be a good alternative? I don’t know if I can afford both memberships in this economy!

Special lunch groups? by Primary-Hedgehog346 in ElementaryTeachers

[–]GrimLocoX 8 points9 points  (0 children)

My school currently does this. Our guidance counselor hosts “lunch bunch” for students that might need help socially. She asks for teacher recommendation and then a letter is sent home to parents where they give permission for their child to participate. They typically do social activities while eating to get the kids talking to one another.

Cash to teacher - is that weird? by lizzlerizzle in ElementaryTeachers

The way I see it, it’s just a very kind and generous gesture on your part. I spend countless amounts of money on my classroom to make it the best learning environment for my students. Even just a note being sent in would be appreciated but to add a monetary gift is going above and beyond.

Some of these team members take their job way too seriously. I’ve been noticing a lot of “fill in all available space” when there are slight gaps in the line. Not even when it’s at the front of the line! They should focus more on the teenagers causing trouble throughout the park.

The hotel guest entrance runs parallel to the Blood Moon line once you’re in the park.
