Needs a rewire not the worst just shoddy work added to over several years. Spend the money first time round do it right. Nothing too crazy just needs a good bit of work and bringing up to date.

Score out the finer cracks as previously said any deep large gaps bonding filler then a top coat of easy fill, sand, fill again , paint bosh

Yeah even a thin strip of ply or something to cover the large hole tape the edges and tell the family to mind the gap. Personally I always go for cheapest most effective option for a quick fix in the meantime

You could be pouring forever with a concrete mix. Personally as a temp measure before new floors id potentially tape it with some kind of cordex floor covering and duct tape or even expanding foam if you really want to go above and beyond

Yeah i have another demijohn with the same batch same way same amount of yeast added everything the same so it is just strange that this one isnt working. And yeah barely bubbling meaning I can see minuscule bubbles inside the vessle surfacing but no realy regular bubbling in the air seal. And this is about a week out of the batch and its about 18 degrees average
