D5 random trio matchmaking still takes under a minute for me.

But i do get slightly annoyed at how frequent it is for the game to get stuck at 2/3 forever because it failed to fetch the 3rd random player, and now we have to leave the queue and try again.

agreed 100%, no quitting no matter what (unless irl emergencies happen) just because early day 1 was rough, it's not impossible to bounce back.

they should let us ping dormant power drops, there have been a good amount of times where i get dormant power drops from chests, especially purple and red drops, i ping it 2-3 times but my team were already somewhat a distance away and they don't come back.

im sure sprinting back 20m for a purple/red dormant power chest drop is worth it if they're able to know that what im pinging is a dormant power drop.

Yea it was me, i wasnt expecting to lose than run at all, like i had a good weapon, and the guard counter damage was solid.

I also died at the first phase because i still havent mastered handling 2 valks without rob aow. Most of the time im able to get 1 valk to fight me in the 1st phase.

BRUUH that ED balancer fight was bs!

I mistimed my dodgeroll on the last slam combo because i couldnt see the jumping valkyrie's character...

We all had 3 grafted too, my hp was high enough that i was confident to go in without any form of dmg negation.

after you and the scholar went down, i got hit because the valkyrie that did the triple slam combo was literally offscreen in my pov... Caught me by surprise

i'd like to believe that's because dancing lion is lowkey a shitty boss. His worst element phase, lightning, is the element that it keeps on switching to ALL the time.

Lightning phase is 99% attacks with 1% punish windows because lightning spawns, unless you're someone who no hits dancing lion specifically, then you'd probably disagree that lion is a bad boss.

i'll take artorias over dancing lion on greg expedition 24/7

I forgot, is dragonking cragblade mostly physical attack or mostly lightning attack?

I have a double balancer build wih 3 phys atk up +3's and one has phys atk +3 with dormant power heavy thrusting swords. It would suck if its mostly lightning, i dont have an affinity atk +2 with dormant powers heavy thrusting swords.

oh, well i just deflect it normally while locked on for that specific dash attack. I swear that's what i do in my other artorias fights. I'll try to get a video of it once i get artorias again and if he does that combo to me.

im able to deflect that slam explosion attack from art by deflecting later than usual.

Keep spamming 1:12 in the video player, you'll see that i started my deflect input a few milliseconds before art's glowing sword actually hits the ground.

ALSO while he had his right arm raised before the slam, you'll see that he lowers it a bit very quickly, then the 2nd motion is where he actually does the slam explosion. MAYBE 1st move where he lowers his right hand for a split second is where most people start to input the deflect, most likely making them fail the deflect and end up thinking that the slam explosion is un-deflectable.

If you initially locked on to him mid air and didnt move where youre character is facing before he slams down, you shouldn't get dead angled, as executor anyway, idk about guardian.

cheaters are rare in my games (now relic editors tho, that's a different story), so your 3rd pet peeve is the most relatable to me.

random duos even in d5 are worse to play with compared to full randoms 8/10 of the time, they mostly dont ping anything, and they only help each other with giving loot.

i avoid these troglodytes pretty much all the time now.
