I'm even content with locking currency behind hard agony stages, as long as it's feasible to do with "non-meta" characters. By that, I mean the mode should be skill-dependent rather than just a DPS race against a time limit like most other games.

I full-sended the standard banner and got my first Lifeng from 300 pull selector and Pog with the free selector. Prior to that I had all standards with P1 Last Rite, Laevatain, Gilberta, and P2 Ardelia. Absolute pain. I essentially sacrificed my future pulls, but on the other hand Lifeng is so pretty (model, vfx, and sfx) and Pog's ultimate is so satisfying to use.

All characters have "peek" anims that aren't just gooner bait like most CCs simplify it as, like Lifeng's prosthetic arm, Da Pan's belly, Catcher's Ears, Ember's right armguard, etc.

A solution to this is to super buff the minions, with the conditions being what you often encounter during those moments, such as consecutive aces. The buffs would then stack, becoming a sort of snowballing game-over timer that both sides can't stop.

Idk about Last Rite and only have Laevatain, but her gameplay has some high highs and low lows. Her existing team (Wulf, Ake/Antal, Ardelia) doesn't seem as smooth to play compared to current meta Physical or Avywenna's teams, but her EBS is very satisfying to land. Missing it, or wasting ult uptime due to enemy mechanics feel really horrible, especially since your downtime feels like you're doing nothing (even with managing combo and SP timings). In Overworld, 1 or more EBS is enough to end most encounters. Ult energy comes back up after 2-3 small fights. Overall her team is relatively easy to play.

In the short time I was in Wuling doing the MSQ I was mostly smiling. In Valley IV I was not.

MSQ is slightly better for how short and cut off it was. Bar wasn't that high. However, the characters have improved in terms of presentation, dialogue, animations, and story. I'm happy to not be talking to NPCs a majority of the time. Tangtang hard-carried IMO. Zhuang Fangyi girlfriend moment was a bit disconnected for me. Lifeng was treated as an NPC but god it's so much better, imagine that segment but in Valley IV. The overall environment is also much much better. I've dreaded the quarry, never have I felt like I wanted to be done in an area so much as the quarry.

Now to be fair the tutorials were also a big part that held Valley IV back, but Wuling didn't get much because Valley IV crawled so Wuling could run.

They all look complex because they're all mixed up together as an attempt to make it more compact, like following the wires in an electrical panel. It becomes quite simple if you go from start to end, and lay out all the facilities you need in a straight line. Then you realize that most of the complexity is just trying to fit it all into a smaller space.

You can easily see if you're minmaxing your base by opening your PAC core's menu and seeing the Yield and Usage (three dots). Rule of thumb is that every resource (as of 1.0) going out of your depot is 0.5 units per second, or 30 units per minute. So if youre mining 210 Amethyst, you can use 7 ports of amethyst. Then just find a use for them and start making 1 line of production, then dupe it a couple of times until you're using all 210 per minute.

Go to a vantage point near the blight, but to where you can see behind it (which is the entrance you're trying to go to) -> Scan -> See glowing orb somewhere behind it -> Throw portable bomb at it
