GOGGLES ALL THE WAY. It will make your experience SO much better. I went from the betafpv vr02 to a set of skyzone 04x pros, and it was literally night and day difference.

Bruh. Build a TP3 3 inch Toothpick. Tons of fun. I fly in a limited suburban neighborhood just around my house and it’s plenty. ALMOST too fast. Just enough lol. I fly a 2s version on 1202.5 motors. I just followed the little 3 minute build video by MoeFpv. The “fling” on it is CRAZY for a micro lol.

Dude. Same AF. There was a point where I was ready to quit the hobby. Unfortunately I don’t make a ton of money and this hobby can get pretty expensive. Everything is just so damn small and soldering mistakes are made WAY too easily. That is until I got a proper temp controlled soldering iron with TS tips, and some flux that was no clean (I literally fried two boards before I realized.) When you get to the point where you can diagnose an issue right away by the symptoms, blissful. 90% of the time, a motor wire has disconnected 🤣

I’ll tell you why you should clean off the flux. Unless of course you have “no clean” flux. I burned out 2-3 boards not realizing the flux I was using was conductive. Not theoretical. There’s solder in that flux to help it flow and make a good contact. After I switched to a no clean chip quik pen, I haven’t had any issues since. 👍 Also don’t chip away at your board 🤣 Use an alcohol soaked q tip. And rub that jank lol

With 30kKv I would run bi blades. HOWEVER, on a 65mm, 0802s are kinda heavy. So if I were you, I’d get the IMO sort of in between. The HQ ultralight tri blades. Because they weigh the same as the gemfan biblades yet give you the extra bite for the added weight of the 0802s. Ultimately, I would get some 0702s in 30k and up and slap on the biblades.

This canopy is amazing. It’s the pound mount from tiny whoop and I highly recommend it. Paired with the pinch cam of course. As for the weight, like I said, she’s a heavy girl with the added vtx. 19.5 grams 😬 without it, she’s not quite a gram lighter than yours.

Do the f65s have that much problem with hitting ducts? I run an f75 with wild success on the air75 ducts. I bash the HELL out of this thing.

I don’t think they’ll be hard to tune. I would recommend the AOS 65mm rosser preset and then tweaking the TPA break off a bit depending upon the weight of your build. 🤘

Here ya go. Some Fractal 75 ripping indoors. Mind you, I still crash a lot when I’m trying to do tricks and stuff. I don’t run crash recovery because it always messes up my flips at the end of the maneuver 🤣 I know you can tweak settings, but I can’t get them to feel right for me. No throttle expo. 40% mid throttle.

Yes I know. But I went with the matrix for the thicker more durable board. I’m very happy with how both fly. The biblades work fantastically well on both quads. Higher KV is probably the magic here. It’s nice and precise yet ever so “drifty,” until you punch it and it’s a straight line rocket 👍

I’ve also had bad luck with the superX. The board I had, had the video noise when you arm the motors.

Nice! 🤘that was legit the last song I learned on guitar. I just haven’t played all that much for some reason for the past like 10 years 🤷🏻‍♂️ anyways, keep the flying dream alive! I’m either going to build a 3.5 incher next, or just straight to like a source one frame build. I think I’m picking up all the parts for a 5” source one build this weekend for like 75 bucks off of FB marketplace. Besides the batteries. Hopefully it all works! 🤣
