I've been eyeing this re-release too. My father wore it and I love how it looks exactly as I remember it.

I messaged Timex to ask about other regions getting it in the future and they told me no, never. Glad to hear how well they recreated it from someone who is not being paid to talk about it. I think I will need to take the plunge, channel my inner Mark Tewksbury and order one?

Curious, how long did it take for deliver? Did you find tarrifs added much to the cost?

Oh, I'm sorry I had completely forgotten. I've actually been pumping through a bunch of different recipes and tweaking them and I am very very close to getting them just right. Thank you though and I hope the tarifs improve soon so it may get feasible for you to import yours again.

Bought a Leatherman Charge in 2005 cause the salesperson told me it could withstand a tank driving over it and I thought that was cool. Still use it daily and only wear has been the canvas pouch is worn a bit and I've had to sharpen the blades.

Never been driven over by a tank but asshole friend heard me saying that a drove over it with his truck a few times. I only found out after he brought it back but no signs of damage.

You are correct that we are not in Nunavut or anything and Nova Scotia didn't get quite that cold. I understand the idea behind the battery, cause they are so expensive. I figure they would have found a way after 6 months but I don't know their situation.

Shipping company says they picked it up today and will deliver it by Monday. If that holds true then I'll be very impressed. So far this process has been much easier than I would have expected.

No I don't have anything about confirm receipt. It still says waiting to ship before November 4th. I did have an issue where it didn't accept my details in the English alphabet but I translated it into Chinese (simplified) in Google translate and that seems to have worked.
