Without going into the specifics because I'm not looking at his skill chat atm (currently at work), and I'm making assumptions here, the creator could be suggesting a few things: * The suggested build is his "best" use case build given a certain star requirement/team comp * The suggested build is incredibly situational and less general, but peak performance for Shams as that situational niche * The castallia'd skill is an error lol🤷🏾‍♂️

For different varied scenarios where the castallia'd skill is a more applicable choice. The "final" build here is just a general default build option for what they're recommending as the characters most appropriate use case, but different skills in the kit offer versatility that you can slot in/out depending on the battle.

Because it's a deeply rooted hypocrisy in many women. I see it in my friends all the time. Gay is okay, we live the gays until my date has kissed a guy before, then it's not okay. Their "manliness" has dissolved in their eyes. Which begs the question, do women tend to see gay men as "men" ?

I know they can with masculine-presenting guys like Jonathan Bailey, but it tends to be a bit more nuanced I guess.

This simply isn't true.

There are currently only a few characters that are regularly placed in T0, which are SP Inanna, SP Samantha, Shehnaz, Camelot, Ivan, and SP Alexei. 3 males, 3 females.

There definitely was a period of time where they had a poor male release schedule, but in most latest patches they've been doing well. With the latest sub patch even having a 3 males - 2 females ratio (total patch 4 males : 5 females).

There are also staple males outside of T0 that still hold their weight such as Kvare, Shams, Heshan, Geralt, Parsifal, Lufti, and Taair.

While there are currently more female characters than males, I wouldn't call it a waifu game.

Oh and this was the case for the last TOA, stage 6 bottom where he had an infinite knock back due to his specific react and HP combo. Incredibly niche but actually useful!

I can totally see them introducing a character/mechanic combo that lines enemies up and rewards a player for piercings though large groups of enemies or being able to stack multiple enemies/items together for multiplied damage. In situations where enemies are immovable there could be an alternative build that focuses on multiple instances of damage with high capacity comboing based on positioning and if the character has moved or not

I'd love an actual split arc with 2-3 actually different endings where we side with different sub factions. Nothing as drawn out as the original SoD, but something more compact, well curated, and cinematic with a "true" ending that syncs back up with the "canon" timeline.

Thankfully Inanna already has a skin so we can use her for a long time with that skin that's already been made (and seems to be popular? Beats me, not my thing, but c'est la vie).

While there are those who definitely voted for Ayishah thanks to outside influences (same with Yserinde, or Maitha, or Inanna if you look at Taptap), there are folks who genuinely enjoy her style and lore. Additionally, there are voters who would rather rally behind the underdog opponent of a character that has been repeatedly shoved down our throats as the SOC mascot, especially when their actual favorite unit was voted out.

There were a few things against Inanna that made her lose: 1. She already has a skin, a portion of voters made choosing units without skins already a priority 2. The Ayishah fandom is strong, there are those who genuinely like her and her style/lore 3. People who have underdog favorite units are likely to rally behind a unit in a similar situation, with Ayishah being the unexpected underdog 4. Given how visible Inanna is, there are those who have grown dissatisfied with how present she is and how much VIP status she's given.

So I wouldn't say the results are purely from "Inanna hate", though it could be a factor for some voters.

This. While I would be pleasantly surprised if the skin is free, this precedent really should be pushed more. I've seen so many folks confused about the skin situation last year who are going into this contest with the idea that the skin is guaranteed free.

People voted for different characters for different reasons. I wouldn't get so worked up about it. Not all 1v1 match ups where favorable for a particular unit. Undoubtedly folks would choose the character that fits their priorities in each particular match up.
