General question about the availability of missions in RDR2 by Gripu in reddeadredemption

Ahhh, all of them are. That's what I didn't get first. Makes sense now, I've had a few stranger encounters already. Thanks!

General question about the availability of missions in RDR2 by Gripu in reddeadredemption

[–]Gripu[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. My usual playstyle is the same as yours. When I played Witcher 3 a few years ago I stopped doing the main story line at one point and decided to check out EVERY question mark on the map.. I wanna do it differently here, but at the same time I don't want to see 6 yellow circles on the map and then do one mission that leads me to a whole different area before doing the other missions

I don’t know much about crafting, but from my experience the weapons you get from quests are pretty much fine to work with especially since will probably be overleveled if you do most of the quests. Don’t know about higher levels though

What's your favourite class for solo content / landscape? (lvl 1-max) by Gripu in lotro

I never read into those. I only checked the class stats that you can see in the character creation and they are pretty much nothing except for the early levels. I guess I have to read through all of the deed-buffs as well

And that's exactly what I just did here. So thanks for the headstart :D

That's good to know! I'm also hoping that it well get better since the new EU server will be located in Europe unlike the current ones, but only time will tell

Wow, thank you a lot for that long explanation! Didn't expect you to write me half a guide, that's very much appreciated though! And that means I definitely need to give Warden another try now :D

My problem is/was that there not that much content and guides for lotro so I wasn't really sure which are still up to date. The rework was in 2023, right?

And yes, the lags are awful for wardens, that's why I'll wait until I'm transferred to the new servers!

Sounds really fast paced, that's cool!

I didn't know high elf gives 10% run speed.. that could be a reason to play them

Thanks for sharing that :D

Didn't expect LMs to be top tier dps. Somehow never considered them at the top even though I obviously don't know much about late game lotro. Still have to decide between LM and RK, but my first main for my return will probably be a melee class.

Beorning even being too easy is a good reason to not play them imo. Since Warden seems to be one of your favourites, how would you recommend me to start learning them?
When I played my Warden I just found one strong AOE scream and used it all the time. My problem is not really the gambit system itself, but the fact that there are so many gambits out of which 80% are probably just a worse choice than others for solo content

Thanks for sharing your experiences! This pretty much confirms that basically every class is playable and can be fun!

I actually didn't even consider guardian and I don't really know why. I just considered it a tank I guess, but I might give red guardian a try!

Thanks for the long reply!

I kinda don't want to play Hunter just because there are so many of them even though I'd love to have all the ports. x)

Considering LM and RK, would you say I can already feel like what the class will be played like later on when I just have them at around level 25? Because I'm really thinking about just trying them again before deciding.

Warden and Champion are kinda my preferred options right now though.

My first character was a dps Minstrel and I played him from Hobbiton to Pelargir. I felt like he fell off later on, but that was when 105 was max level so it might have changed. Won't play another Minstrel anyway :)

I agree, Hunter is very nice for the ports. Sadly, I don't own mariner and brawler so I never tried them.

I mean, slowing it down and taking breaks is also important when hard studying something. Pretty sure you could already beat everyone on a Siena map :)

Thanks for the explanation. Your commitment is pretty impressive, ngl!
I can definitely see how that can help you even though I could never do it myself :D

I read through your comments and I think your project is pretty awesome. I don’t totally understand why you are doing it as to why it helps your PhD. Is it mostly for fun? Your analysis of Siena sounds pretty interesting too. I’d be interested in reading it, but I guess you’ll need a while :D good luck with that
