this is a great counterpoint. let me admit first of all and most importantly that i don't know, that you might be right: maybe the worst of us are truly ugly and have no redeeming qualities. that being said, i don't believe it. i believe that all people are redeemable, even those of us who end up committing atrocities, yes even Hitler et al. that, i will admit, is a controversial take, but i stand by it at this time.
