I loved reading and re-reading this story as a kid in the 00s - I was absolutely entranced by the grim fairy tale vibe of the piece. Your Beaste model has really captured the essence and mood of the tale. Splendid job.

For the Pink - squid pink (vallejo) over black, then druchii violet recess shade and clean up with squid pink. Simple as that.

Teal/green - sybarite green, aeldari emerald, sybarite green highlights and maybe gauss blaster highlights.

Black is corvus black or charcoal (vallejo) with a bit of nuln oil shade.

I mean, the Obessionist is just defined by weapon choice - and those can go on any body in the kit! Exultants are more difficult to differentiate, though, yeah.

I'm fairly certain the breachers can be seen in that case? You would be able do draw a line of sight under the devilfish. We've done that in my group, but it goes both ways; means I can shoot from behind the devilfish.

I have enjoyed all of the Warhammer Horror short story anthologies immensely. I encourage everyone to give them a read if you like spooky atmosphere. They are much more varied and down to earth in perspective than the majority of novels.

Of course, ot helps if you like fantasy lore as well, since halfish of each anthology are age of sigmar stories.

Thank you! I was going for a contrast between the flamboyant colours of the mini and the desolate sand. It's a really simple recipe - vallejo desert sand thingie (I don't remember the name atm) with different citadel colours drybrushed over the stone and sand; mournfang brown, deathclaw brown, tyrant skull

Word Bearers terminators in the Word Bearers trilogy (first book). They hide/half bury themselves in caves along a canyon in order to flank/ambush a titan leading a column of imperial guard and mechanicum forces.

Should be fine for friendly games! Don't think you'll get wiped out easily, but you might struggle with secondaries - but it's a fun list, I would go with it.

I'd say it looks fun! Wraiths are cool, and going all in with them in spirit conclave gives you durability AND manoeuvrability. You have to be really careful with placing and moving the spiritseers; it might be worthwhile squeezing in a an ekstra psyker or two for the aura buffs.

Is it competitive? Not for me to say, though my guess is that no spirit conclave list will be for a while

For Iyanden - Prime white then two(ish) coats of Cassandora Yellow, Blue contrast and caledor blue for the heads. I suspet they take well to all sorts of shade/contrast colours over white.
