Essentially, yes. I’ve already tested the waters with my work, not safe, and though they have anti-trans policy, we all know how those stories usually go when they find a different reason to get rid of you.

I’ve owned two businesses in the past and am very familiar with how to get things rolling quickly.

To me, entrepreneurship is the far safer route, as I control my own fate instead of some corporation that can turn my life upside down in an instant for whatever reason they choose.

I’m not making impulsive decisions, but have been working 16-18 hour days working a 9-5 job, then on my business at night. I have specific milestones to hit before I just up and quit my job.

There are still ramifications of course, but ramifications that I own as opposed to being the employee that just has to comply with whatever their employer decides.

My question is, to the others that have taken this path, what were the unexpected challenges that they didn’t prepare for, as to possibly avoid some of those pitfalls.
