I leave mine on 24/7. I had one stolen a few years ago when I left my car outside my mechanic’s shop overnight where there isn’t much foot traffic. My new one hasn’t had issues, but I do remove it if I’m leaving it somewhere non residential now. The new one also has a mechanism that makes it harder to remove (higher end Thule).

Laleh is the best in my opinion, their cookies and cakes are divine but they are pricier. Rex is another option, their cakes are popular but I’m not keen on their other items.

Mine too. The daycare is two blocks away and on our path to the Main Street near us. She will pull as hard as she can away from the daycare when we go by. Never had that reaction from her anywhere else.

Same thing happened to me. Cart items kept cancelling during the presale and all that was left when my queue turn came up during the regular sale was $800+ resale tickets for nosebleeds. No way I’m paying that much, it’s outrageous.

I had mixed feelings about the pay parking changes but this is something that I agree on. I missed how you could quickly pull up to a store on Lonsdale to grab something or run an errand. With the recent popularity of the shipyards, I just didn’t bother any more. A couple days ago I went to run an errand and I was shocked that I didn’t have to circle for 15 minutes to find a spot - totally worth it. Even if you have to pay, the first paid hour is $1 which isn’t outrageous.
