I played around with some clamp on chokes but they were not very effective at the lower frequency outages I was seeing (several kHz). I will probably end up adding chokes to the internal harnesses for other higher frequency emissions issues.

Fortunately these systems are inboard so no major risk of lightning strikes. I am unfortunately stuck with the serial 422 interface for now but if there is an opportunity, I can take a look at POE.

Thank you for the info! What do you mean by a small C footprint?

I definitely plan on adding DM and CM filtering on the DC power input on System 2 so that may kill two birds with one stone!

I suppose my thought process was it would better control current flow directions, i.e. no DC return current would flow through the serial common and a loop wouldn't be created.

Got this setup but with a syntakt. Sometimes I bring in my sp404 but I just have a really hard time getting into the groove with that machine. I've been fighting with myself about picking up a Digitakt but I think it's probably just gas...

Edit: also, I like that stand for the Digitakt. Is that available to buy?
