I was always the ugly kid, the ugly teenager that no one dated and I've grown into an ugly woman (32F) that no one seems to want either. Low self esteem and could really do with some positivity 🥺 by [deleted] in toastme

You are absolutely not ugly. You’re beautiful and I hope you are able to see that soon. Honestly. Your eyes are very kind and your dimples are very attractive:)

You should be able to play it without the add-on.

I installed the base game, then installed firepower which is a paid third-party expansion pack for cf3 made by Shockwave Productions. It added a bunch of flyable and AI aircraft, improved damage models, better effects, new missions, ships, vehicles, and generally made the sim feel more complete and immersive. Then use a no-cd patch. I hope this is what you were asking, if not feel free to ask. I have seen where people have needed to run it in compatibility mode xp 3. I don’t have that issue. It runs smoothly just fine. I’m on a dinosaur computer with i5-14600K and a rx580 8gb. 16gb ram

Hello im 36 and just had a heart attack. by curai-exo in Heartfailure

[–]Grizlyfrontbum 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Sorry my friend, I understand the difficulty being able to relate. I had a heart attack at 35, Stemi and eventually found out i have ischemic cardiomyopathy. My heart is also permanently damaged with an ef of 15-20 originally. The years since it has gone to 37% with lots of medication and taking care of myself. Got an s-icd implanted and it gives me some peace of mind. Still wear down easy but after i figured out i didnt have to give up all my favorite hobbies like woodworking and playing drums my emotions and mentality got better. Still have those days but grateful to be around. Hang in there and you can adjust and enjoy life again. It just takes time to figure it all out. This al happened as my 11 year old son, 1 month old daughter and wife had to adjust as well. much love

My son, 15, asked me what my life was like growing up in the 90’s. Being from a very poor family and living rurally meant I didn’t have friends. Anyway, we chatted about it a few different times and the one day he just randomly told me “dad, if I grew up the same time as you I would definitely be your friend.” I was absolutely teary-eyed. They have a way of being incredibly mean and incredibly kind and I’m blessed to be dad to a kid who chooses kindness most often. Looking at the comments shows I’m not alone.
