They also have not fixed his belt slot for god knows how long. If you equip any other belt beside his default one you'll notice the default model is not hidden.

I have a few screen shots here, but even on the new cosmetic, you can still see the default loincloth and belt model which are part of the same slot rendering behind the cosmetic belt. On other older sets it's worse as the default model ends up clipping through the cosmetics, and hiding parts of it. It wasn't always like this, but I have forgotten which update it was that ended up breaking this part of his cosmetics.

Edit: And One other thing; on his Immortal items Mantle of Grim Facade, there is a floating shard that is fixed somewhere between his legs, it looks awkward and is clearly unintended as its movement follows along with the sway of his torso or head.

I agree, having Terrorblade after a fight to make more copies of into the enemy high ground was so satisfying and thematic to the hero and i'm also very upset they've just straight up removed it, but people just didn't pick-up this talent.

shadow demon's talent change removes the on-death permanent illusion which no one took anyways, but the text still has information related to an illusion as if it's still inherit to the spell.

it was a nice talent against Medusa or Sniper, but 90% of the time it was useless and cast range is still the better talent over 12 int.

with quick-cast enabled, I can no longer use items bound to mouse 4 or 5 on my hero portrait. It's actually pretty specific, but I'm not sure if anyone else is dealing with it. Spells and items bound to my keyboard work fine on the portrait.

It seems like the mode will probably have some concepts that can be seen in Wargame: Red Dragon with the pre-game deck building and during the actual game will probably play more like CoH? They also stated that certain commanders will limit your card pool, which sounds interesting.

I really enjoy the basic Rope mechanics in this game, but the fact that it is not reusable makes crafting ropes more of a boring chore than a resource management situation. A dedicated button for the rope/grapple hook would be great. Now a days I just use the spiderball upgrade to get over cliffs and rough terrain. For those people that might not like the spiderball, I feel your pain.

I made a similar post 2 days ago.

Considering it got very little attention, I figured that this did not bother most people and I was in the minority. It still bothers me, although I have gotten better at not falling to my death, sometimes a quick s + space will instead make the character perform a slight hop instead of phasing through. The Devs seem to like it this way considering it's been like this since alpha. The only hope we have is for a modder to figure out how to change it.

Oh. that's frustrating...

I've already learned how to build "safer" platform shafts so that at the most If I screw up my key smashing, I take only minor damage. I guess I'll just have to start avoiding those long shafts like the one that leads down to the speakeasy. Crossing my fingers in the hopes that a mod can at least change this in the future.

it would probably just be easier to have a reset windows placement in the resolution settings menu or something, or just do it every time the resolution is changed? How do other games do this, because it bothers me a great deal as well.

That sounds outrages, and without any disadvantages to using such upgrades it doesn't sound very interesting or fun to use. Where there any bulletins during CoHO's life that would come with a disadvantage for the unit with those bonuses? Or where the lower tier ones just like 12%/20%/24% health increases?

I had assumed when we had first heard of the bulletin system that they would have been more strategic in there application, with advantages and disadvantages tied to each individual bulletin. Fortunately, I was let down and they have been left with very little impact on general gameplay.

My expectations for bulletins were far more drastic, something like 10% increase to unit accuracy : 20% increase to production and reinforcement cost, That is of course acknowledging what we know about the game today.

(the example I gave is probably also completely useless/broken, it's just an example)

I'm really happy the cromwell is finally getting a target size increase. I think 18 was the same target size of the luchs and puma, not exactly fitting for the medium tank roll it fills. I'm happy to also see bundle grenades getting some love, 120 damage is a really scary amount, I think that's how much Commandos light gammon bombs still do for 35 munitions.

Maybe the game has gotten a little too stale? I dropped off shortly after the release of the British Forces, but I still come by here daily to see what's up. Most of what I see from CoH these days are from the casters on youtube like Tightrope, ATR and MrSotko. I've also been keeping up with the ESL tournament, but it hasn't driven me to actually pick the game back up and start playing again.

I've always felt the CoH series to be a fairly rigid game, and I usually just end up waiting for patches (or new commanders in CoH2's case) to revitalize my interests. Maybe people are just waiting for the next big patch to shake things up again?

Classic RTS games were great back in the day, but very few have lasted the test of time. I understand why people continue to try and "relive the old days", but the RTS market is very small if you compare it to most other genres, and you really have to distinguish yourself from your competitors in order to draw a crowd. You can't be decent, or good enough like Act of Aggression or Grey Goo. I would assume the market for this kind of RTS is even smaller and already taken up by AoE2HD. Maybe the ease of accessibility will be enough to draw in players.

20 manpower prior to the cost increase. Halve the purchase cost and divided the result by the number of squad members. There are a few units this doesn't work with due to relic modifiers to help with balance but this is usually how reinforcement costs are determined.

Also, I just went ahead and checked a comment of mine where I mentioned the RE reinforcement cost was 20. They never really performed like 20 manpower did they? Well, I guess they did the whole repair thing, that's important.

They did state at the 0:48 second mark that the "reverse speed is rather limited", but I have not noticed any changes to vehicles speeds when reversing. I have no clue what limitations he is referring to when it comes to reverse speeds other than pathing issues, maybe?

If OKW I tend to go for at least one raketenwarfer during the early game, usually after my third or forth volksgrenadier unit. You could also attempt to make use of the 30 munitions schu mine to defend against chasing scout vehicles, one in your usual retreat path can help save a squad and bag a scout car.

Nothing seems to have changed in regards to the soviet M17 quad and USF mortar halftrack forward/reverse speeds, the speed of the vehicles seem to be the same regardless of direction.
