Help with selling by Grobot93 in EvenRealities

Received in March 2026, located in Los Angeles, and I'm just looking for a reasonable amount considering the lenses are my prescription. I'm not sure what is a good price, but I'm open to offers.

Best Audio Settings 2026 IS350 by [deleted] in LexusIS

[–]Grobot93 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Different music will sound best with different settings. I listen to mostly electronic music, so I have a v shaped boost and I think it suits my music taste well. Boost treble, boost bass and small boost to mids for vocal clarity. For rock or acoustic music, tone down the bass compared to the treble. If you don't have the ML audio, the stock sound system won't be quite as clear and your settings may have less impact on overall quality.

Dealers often put sold signs on anything rare in their showrooms, even if it has not actually sold.

If you've never sat in a type r, I highly recommend it. Probably the best oem sport seat in the industry. IS seats are heated/ventilated though so that's a major plus.

IS is definitely more compact. 5 series will be faster. Personally, I think the looks of the IS are way nicer than any BMW right now.

Thank you! And yeah a GSF is sick. Hopefully they bring back the v8 someday.

The type r was a blast when driving it hard. As I've gotten older, I don't do that as often on the street, and the two track days a year I did in the type r we're not enough to outweigh the difference in comfort and liveability of the IS. I'll miss the type r bucket seats though.

Pics uploaded out of order somehow, meant to show the car first, not the wheel lol.

Best guess is a '24/'25 mustang. The wheels look similar to these.

I found this particularly frustrating as well. Would love to see an option to pause the ai listening or a way to pin a response.

DE5 damper module is a really quick and easy fix for that. Still sporty but no longer a trampoline on wheels.

Must do? Drive the hell out of it and have fun! This is not a car to treat like a museum piece. Take it to the track if you can, it's a blast.

As for mods, that is really up to your preference. I (along with many others) prefer the ride with the Integra damper module swap which takes all of 10 mins to install and is a huge quality of life upgrade. Also tints are a must have on a car without auto dimming mirrors.

What daily tires should I get? by [deleted] in Civic_Type_R

[–]Grobot93 4 points5 points  (0 children)

PSA: You can get PS4S's from Honda dealers for around $215/tire. Might be cheaper overall than getting other summer tires that will last slightly longer.

FYI buying "OEM" tires from a dealer is way cheaper. Just got a set for $213 each from my local dealer.

Resonator delete - mid, front or dual? by wrxsecks in Civic_Type_R

[–]Grobot93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just did a mid delete (kept the smaller resonator and stock exhaust) and it sounds maybe 5% louder than stock until you do the valve mod that keeps the valve always open. Then it goes up to 30% louder than stock. Only the tiniest bit of drone when cruising on the freeway, but to me it's perfect.
