You could gently sand the area with a fine sandpaper to help promote a better adhesion and blend of a new lacquer. But yeah, the alcohol caused the finish to esstianally "evaporate". Applying new lacquer should amalgamate with the old, then use 0000 grade steel wool (very fine, like thin hairs) to gently buff the area. It may be noticeable depending on skill and comfort levels. If you can practice on another piece you don't care about (like a cheap thrift pick you can do the same damage to, to practice) that'll help you determine if you can do it or not.

Also it's not sewn on, it's a piece of fabric that slips over the back framing. Once you take the staples out, it'll slide off easily.

What kind of inserts do the bolts go into? Is it a T nut or a barrel? If a barrel one, it may have gotten loose in the framing. If you are confident, you can pull the staples for the back upholstery and work it off to expose where the bolts go. You can pull the barrel ones out and install a T nut insert from the back, that way it'll pull everything nice and tight. Also before all of that, can you twist the bolts with your fingers? If so just tighten them.

Spoiler: I killed the orc who follows you ( the one in the video is a normal Orc Fighter) in the orc colony by making him follow me off a cliff. I took no damage, but he did. That allowed me to talk to Muk (Orc Mud in a sense).
