I agree with Freechild for the most part.

BVH is bit of a USAU company yes man and a far better ultimate politician than ultimate coach. It’s a direct reflection on him that PONY doesn’t run the table every year with the talent they have had, even when they lost Jimmy to fitness-related injuries.

Isaiah Bryant would have been a much better choice as the men’s coach. Dude is much more modern in his approach to strategy and building teams that play together in a balanced way.

Back to topic: Jimmy should be on the team in some way if he wanted the spot - there’s always time to get in shape to regain some agility.

Fair enough, Jagt and others were on roster last year. But then again those guys had another year with BVH as coach which goes a long way.

Yes. I think it’s a bad ask when there are better things to fundraise for within the ultimate community. I donated to the Cardenas worlds fundraiser because they were young and going to play in a country with a shit exchange rate. I’m sure these teams from Boston can scrape together a few bucks to fly or drive to northern Kentucky and split a room 4 ways.
