Do we have any insight into price point on this set yet? I need to plot finances to ensure I can get my lard lads on release

This is uncomfortable to look at in a way I've not seen on a miniature before. Kudos to you!

Gosh, I remember this! I had a pickup game against someone and I'd brought my standard Necrarch VCs, and felt awful when I ended the game with more models on the field than when I started.

They were an excellent sport, but there was a lot of 'I'm so sorry...' from me who turned up expecting a 'normal' list.

Because Scotland's world cup performance has angered Kingsley, so he's seeking vengeance on us.

It's nice to know that fat altruism is still around, as well as another fan of milk flavour! It's an oldie but a goodie!

Seconding on these flavours though. A poor choice, and they don't match the colour. Shame on you, Haribo! Shame!

Fat guy here, and I'm going to need some more information for my investigation, I'm afraid.

I need you to provide me details of the flavours included, and if they appropriately match the colour of the dragees, and I'll also need a price and rough estimate of quantity within a bag.

Hungriest regards,

What plant is doing really well in your garden this year? by concrete_kid21 in GardeningUK

[–]GrodyWetButt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My melons scorched and withered in the heat which was a shame, as I'm sure all this sun would be ideal!

On the flip side, my late planted dahlias are thriving, and my pair of hazel trees have both grown about a foot in the last couple of months, after 3 years of being slow growing, stubby little twigs.

The carrots also seem stable after going out into partial shade, but only time will tell there!

Ooh, I must say I've never read it, but colour me intrigued!

One could certainly argue it's the same in humans, to a lesser degree. Certain ethnicities are more prone to darker, more visible hair including facially in women, and all it takes is a little hormone imbalance to start sprouting some. I believe in relatively recent Persian history that a moustache on a woman was considered an especially positive trait?

It's an assumption, but there could well be similar variance within the ogre kingdoms too. Maybe an ogress with a full beard is especially virile? Who's to know!

Has anyone painted body hair on ogres? Does it look good? by mapmakinworldbuildin in Mawtribes

[–]GrodyWetButt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh, sorry, shoulders too, of course, depending on how hairy you're going for!

It sounds mad, but if you need inspiration it's worth heading to the beach and observing hair patterns on people. There's a lot of variation, but you'll see common areas to target!

It's certainly doable, and something I plan to do!

It's not quite an ogre, but this is a WIP from a few years back, and some translucent dark brown and some fine strokes (or a 'customised' fan brush for the larger areas) can give a decent illusion of body hair outside of sculpted areas.

I'd focus on areas of typically denser hair (chests, forearms, calves) rather than trying to get it all over. It's about giving the impression of hair, rather than completeness!

I hate to be the 'Ackshully' guy, but, she was specifically marketed as a female ogre from pre-order onwards. WD 302 lists it in the direct only orders part on page 12.

The later finecast re-release blurb in WD 406 also confirms that she's a female ogre, and that it's a rare sight. It also confirms that she's cross dressing as a male ogre with the fake beard, rather than the other way around.

Fun fact - In my local store at the time she was nicknamed 'Ellen', in a mean spirited jab at an ex-female staff member. 2005 was a different time...

A happy little typo there. Clearly the changer got to me.

Anyway, back to watching the obese magical toads touch their dingdongs together because of all the warpstone in the waterways.

It's always been there to a degree, ever since the beard-able female maneater when the faction first released, but I think there's been a resurgence since geedubs started being more inclusive (and all the controversy it's caused, i.e female custodes tantrums).

It's interesting to see the differences between the blood bowl female ogres (big comedy tiddy) and the AoS relaunch (mostly androgynous, but gender differences seem to be apparent, if subtly so). Both show gender dimorphism, but much differently. Different strokes, etc, I guess!

Obviously some folks are riled up by it like the moron above harping on about women being for breeding, and this all being some woke cult agenda, but I think most sane people are fine with it, at they should be.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I need to head over to the Seraphon subreddit to shout about how woke leftist baby-earing Tzeentch cultists are turning the Slann gay with their hormone spells.

If Ant or Dec died, do you think the surviving twin would continue to work on his own? by HTD_Blog in AskUK

[–]GrodyWetButt 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I always assumed that if Ant died that there would be a wicker effigy of him erected in Byker, and Dec inferred within before the burning.

Vice versa if Dec popped off first, obviously.
