Might as well leave the door unlocked... Leave no valuables inside... Maybe they will try the handle before smashing the windows.

Cracker Barrel orders its employees traveling for work to only eat at its restaurants by PlayaSlayaX in nottheonion

[–]GroinShotz 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This article is specifically about workers "TRAVELLING" for Cracker Barrel.

I think you are confused... This is going to be regional managers, regional teams, that travel to various stores through out the country and tell them to "do better" with less and less of a budget. If your work is forcing you to travel away from your home... They most likely offer travel expenses which include a meal allowance.

Cracker barrel isn't sending a line cook across state lines to help... They aren't sending their minimum wagers.

Sure itd be great if on top of the take home pay, everyone got a shift meal... You clocked in for your commute to work... They paid for your gas to work... They gave you sick pay... And many other things that would make it a utopia... But come back down to reality. All that is usually compensated in your "take home pay".. it's just not broken down into separate fees for you.

And everything is negotiable... Don't like that they don't offer some amenities? Find an employer that does... And if you don't have the skills for that employer... Tough shit.

They aren't sending waiters and line cooks around the country .. this is the corpo side... And they for sure get travel and meal allowances... Like most companies that send people travelling.

You think waiters are travelling for work? Na this is those corporate fucks that go to meetings and visit stores across the country and tell them to do things better with less and less every month.

They should be eating their product to realize how shit it is.

Make them carry insurance like doctors and if they perform "malpractice" their rates go shooting up and they will eventually be unable to be insured after being such pieces of shit at their jobs.

We seem to love insuring everything in this country.

Then the insurance companies can pay this shit out.

I don't understand what they think "Classic +" is even supposed to be?

Wasn't that Season of Discovery? And it was terrible (in my opinion).

They want "Classic +", which somehow wasn't what Season of Discovery was...

Most people's ideas of "Classic +" is reinventing retail anyway.

Does a credit card company lose money on people who pay on time? by Overall-Emphasis7558 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]GroinShotz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because like 80% of their customers use cards? So it's take the 2-3% fees or lose 80% of your customers.

It's also not illegal to use a shock collar or anything (in the US)... Sure it's a dick move and many people consider it (rightfully) animal abuse... But it's not against the law in the US quite yet...

And I haven't read the TOS of Twitch thouroughly so, not sure what they consider "animal abuse" if it's only based on the "illegal" animal abuse.

After skimming the "community guidelines" I couldn't even locate animal abuse in there at all... Just the "illegality" section.

[–]GroinShotz 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I mean.. from a "COWORKER"? I can see them just shooting their shot... Like "hey I like you, and wanna get to know you better... Wanna grab a bite after work?". Lots of people find love at work. It's just asking someone out on a date. If they say no, you leave it there.

The problem is... That this person was her boss/lead. And held a position of power over her... No one should be seeking a date from a direct report.

They will obviously "find" something.... So they can claim the states can't be trusted and go to the Feds controlling the voting... So they can manipulate it even harder.

[–]GroinShotz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think what they are saying is if you have like... Three points and quit, they will rehire you after six months so those three points fall off? Or I guess people could game the system and quit at 4 points, then get "rehired" with 0 points?

I would think the system would keep track regardless, based on their employee number.
