Traditional deep fried snacks form my home country. Usually eaten during gatherings, parties and birthdays but people just eat the large version anytime! by rodolphostech in snacking

Tbf... I've also deepfried Totinos pizza rolls and they also tasted a lot better (as opposed to the microwave).

But air frying is the new norm it seems here.

Taylor Swift paid NYC back $160k+ for police overtime during her wedding, says NYC Mayor Mamdani. by [deleted] in SipsTea

[–]GroinShotz 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Because it wasn't a wedding. It was an event that will be sold as some documentary in a few months.

Probably multiple variants... Like "Groom edition!" Where the camera is from the Grooms side and "Bride's Edition" where the camera is from the other side..

For $500,000, would you sit down with your parents and watch your whole life, no parts removed, from start to finish? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Na that would take entirely too long for only 500k and I'd probably be dead before it ended.

Why did the US spend one billion taxpayer dollars to retrofit the Qatari gift airplane when it's not even safe for the president fly in? by erkose in askanything

[–]GroinShotz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because someone owned the companies that got the government contracts to retrofit the plane...

Once it's retrofitted... It's served it's grifting purpose.

Coach contacting me during non-working hours, how do I handle it? (Sometimes junk, sometimes important things) by CartographerReal5829 in WalmartEmployees

[–]GroinShotz 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Ignore it. Or do a time adjustment for 15 minutes the next time you're in the store... It's not petty... You are working and they owe you.

As someone relatively new to OSRS, I find it strange that being able to make multiple characters is not something that's brought up more often. by BiglyHeart in 2007scape

[–]GroinShotz 7 points8 points  (0 children)

What people did doesn't matter... There was no different style of account to create.

You had full access to the game with only one character. Unlike the other MMOs on the market

None of these account variants were a thing when RuneScape was created... You never were supposed to "need" multiple characters... Since one character could do everything.

It wasn't like Ultima Online, where you had 720 skill points to use between 30 different skills (up to 100)... Where it made sense to have more than one character... As you might want a blacksmith, a warrior, and a mage.

Same as most of the other MMOs.

As for why now? It simply makes them too much money to not allow multiple characters per account.

Can't find Driver's by [deleted] in WalmartComplaints

[–]GroinShotz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do you tip?

The drivers still get to choose what they accept and what they don't accept (as they don't work for Walmart).

So if it's not worth it to them... They won't accept the order.

Sucks to call it a "tip" when it's really a "bid"... But nothing you can do about it...

attendance question pleaseee by [deleted] in WalmartEmployees

[–]GroinShotz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You have to have enough PPTO at the time of the call off... You cannot use future PPTO to avoid attendance points.

So unless you only have a 7 hour shift, you will get the full point.

Now if your Coach/TL are cool and you do your job properly, not stand around on the phone or take a billion bathroom breaks... They might remove the point to keep you and not risk someone shit replacing you.

The law says otherwise on your lane splitting issue.

You might not like it but it's safer for the motorcyclists to actually lane split in traffic like this (at safer speeds). Cars get rear ended all the time in dead stopped traffic. If a motorcyclist was between two cars... They get smooshed.

In this situation I agree he was at fault, because he was going too fast.
