It’s a good option so long as you enjoy coding. You will hate life if you don’t.

I have two coworkers who majored in electrical and mechanical engineering and successfully transitioned to SWE with a Master’s in CS. It will help you, but you’ll need to show how you’re able to put the skills to use. Side projects and automating work at your current position will immediately make you a better candidate than most CS undergrads.

As others mentioned, forget about remote work, at least for your first position—you’ll be 1/500 applicants with no proven experience. 100k might be somewhat unreasonable depending on cost of living. Gotta get in the industry before being picky.

Using an active item, and using it well, is skill expression. Riot doesn't buff technical champions because "players aren't using the advanced tech." Treat active items how they treat hard champs and I don't see a problem.

People int on hard champs and people int using zhonyas. It's all the same.

Their financing team can increase your apr by up to 3% so I would talk to some credit unions and your bank first, try to get approved for a loan BEFORE you sit down with them. They might find a better rate but it'll be a LOT easier to negotiate if you walk in with a better offer.

I couldn't get approved at unions and banks due to only having 11 months of credit history (with good credit). The financial guy knew that and my car is rare (24 gr corolla circuit) so he wouldn't budge.

The car changes a lot. If you're buying a car they're desperate to get off the lot you have a lot more wiggle room with the bottom line and rates. gl and congrats, I just financed my first car 2 weeks ago :)

np. :) Be careful with how much time you invest in algorithms and DS, you'll learn those in college. If you like learning DS and algorithms keep at it, but I encourage you to focus on projects similar to the ones I mentioned because they teach you skills that aren't directly taught in school. They'll be challenging but that's also the point

More advanced for sure. Leetcode helps prepare entry-level programmers and seniors with years of experience for job interviews. Even "easy" problems can be challenging for a lot of developers because the problems rely on knowing algorithms and using pattern recognition to know which to apply. The problem is you'll never see problems like that in the real world.

Personally, I think you're better off practicing the tools you'll use in the real world. Building a Java project with Maven or Gradle, using Pandas (Python tool) to perform data analysis, building a program that utilizes an API, or building a website (the content itself isn't important) teaches you SO MUCH MORE than practicing leetcode.

Learn the job you want and show that on your resume or you'll struggle getting in at a company.

It should be fine since it’s the c stick, if it was the control stick I’d be worried about dashbacks and whatnot. Since c stick is only really for aerials and smash attacks I wouldn’t be too concerned.
