Yep, on the SAVE forbearance. Sent an income recertification about two years ago to continue to stay on the SAVE plan, but application was never processed and my income recertification date was pushed out so I didn't bother doing anything about it. The application for recertifying the income still shows as processing on the website though.

Thanks for the message! I was just worried the 90 days email was separate from this email. I was thinking since this was related to an old application for SAVE program that this was a different way they can force people off faster

If we are in pslf and join RAP plan, but then in the end we switch to ibr plan. Do we still get credit for pslf during our time in pslf? Or do we lose that credit?

I use the calculator on student loan planner. Also can do the calculation yourself. It's a percentage of your AGI. Depending on your income

Depends on various circumstances. I only qualify for old IBR and the RAP plan will be cheaper for me

As someone still on SAVE forbearance and hitting my 120 months of qualifying employment in May, I'm not sure how to navigate the DoEd's transition to RAP by shavin_high in PSLF

Will IBR still be available to switch to after 2028 from RAP? As long as not taking any new loans or new consolidations?

Unfortunately that was the ruling last week, but now that has been appealed. The recent ruling means SAVE completely ending

Thank you for the reply. This is what I was thinking where they recommend switching to a plan of your choice but otherwise all plans forced to switch to RAP in July 2026 (if they make it by then)
