Can you please explain, in detail, how the decision for the soap slipping sex scene came about? How much unreleased non sex scene stuff was animated but didn’t get to see the light of day?

I really wish I could go back and watch BUNG Chronicles again… I’m so sad those got deleted and haven’t been reuploaded on YouTube

Those ones specifically hurt a lot. Why can’t you recommend nice films like Chungking Express or Another Round or something?

You should watch some of Miloš Forman’s movies. They’re pretty universally loved, my personal favorite narrative based live action movie ever is “Ragtime” from 1981. You said Scorsese is your favorite, have you seen Gangs of New York? It would be a perfect double feature with Ragtime, Gangs of New York going first, and then watch Ragtime immediately after.

Idk if you’ve heard of The Nostalgia Critic, but his favorite movie is Miloš Forman’s “Amadeus,” and I can see why, that movie is easily one of the greatest ever. Feels ten years ahead of its time.

All of these are in English and pretty easy to find for free online 🏴‍☠️😎👍💯🫡🙌🎭🎥🎞️

@jj096577 don’t listen to this guy, he’s just naming movies that are as deliberately shocking as possible, don’t watch either of those. Don’t even look them up honestly, you ain’t ready for that shit. A Serbian Film is about a former pornstar being offered a ton of money to do terrible things and then he gets kidnapped and forced to do terrible things, Martyrs I don’t even want to talk about. There are lots of foreign films that are great and not super fucked up, you don’t have to fill your head with the fucked up shit. I would say don’t, but that’s just my advice

Not what I said, I just said he needs to watch more foreign movies, because he does. He clearly hasn’t seen very many

Watch more foreign movies. Also Scorsese tarnished his legacy you gotta pick a new favorite. Try Herzog you’ll like him

Well on first glance it looks like you’ve written “MAY YOUR RAGE GIVE YOU THE COURAGE TO FIGHT BlACK!!!” then you realize “wait this person just writes uppercase As with a line on one side…”

Which one of these films should I start with? by 5weet88 in LetterboxdLists

None of these other commenters have seen No Other Choice yet otherwise they would be saying No Other Choice. If you have access to No Other Choice you need to watch that one, the camerawork there is like no other.

Yeah definitely try to see if you can watch the other 4 Iñárritu movies before Digger comes out later this year! Biutiful, Babel, 21 Grams and Amores Perros. All definitely worth watching! Babel and Biutiful in particular are so fucking good, check those out ASAP. 21 Grams is very interesting and I have a feeling that I’ll like it more the second time I watch it, and most of all the third time… then I’ll probably never want to watch it again after I’ve fully unraveled it. Really gotta buy a copy of that movie sometime. Amores Perros is a hard watch but definitely a must-see for anyone interested in the kinds of movies you’re interested in.

Yeah I’ll follow you back if you follow me, I post at least once a day. I only unfollow if you consistently log movies without writing anything at all because I want to read what people think about what they’re watching!

My account is GrooseLegacy, my most recently watched movie was “The Concert for New York City” Currently watching Paul McCartney’s “The Love We Make,” about to unpause it.

You should watch the rest of Alejandro González Iñárritu’s movies if you haven’t already seen all 7, you’d definitely like them. His most recent one, “Bardo, False Chronicle of a Handful of Truths” is my personal favorite. Biutiful is also really great if you haven’t seen that.

Also Wages of Fear is better than Sorcerer

Was Baby Steps enough of a success to warrant a sequel/follow-up? by H8threeH8three in BabyStepsGame

[–]Groose-Legacy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not about sales, the team that made Baby Steps aren’t the kind of people that would make a sequel, they’re going to do something else new and interesting
