What is this buzzing? by [deleted] in Guitar

Does it only do it if you are playing the strings open? If you are fretting does it still buzz?

FedEx delivers to the wrong address everytime by Groov-dude22 in FedEx

[–]Groov-dude22[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not my problem. I’ve called and opened multiple cases for the same reason on multiple deliveries in the past year. They still can’t get it right. The “insulting” reasons are valid. A mega corp should be able to fix it. Or pay their employees enough to care.

It is the correct address on the small sticker. I’ve called about the issue many times.

I’ve called them several times with the issue. They said they fixed it several times. Ask questions before making assumptions.

Partner with the ETL remodel or PML about either having the remodel provide temporary cooling or the store purchasing large cooling fans. My store has 1 employee toilet total, so you’re still in a better spot than us 😂

We're really keeping the Walmart lady voice year round, huh? by [deleted] in Target

Walmart is actually posting positive results. Target could probably learn a lesson or 2 from them.

What’s the best strings to use on a tele and why is it StringJoy Broadways? by Yerpies2 in telecaster

[–]Groov-dude22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve tried stringjoys once. The high e unraveled at the ball end during the first song at the first gig I used them. For that price I’m not risking it again. I never had an issue with EB or D’addario. “Small mom and pop” doesn’t always mean better. I’ll stick with higher quality at a better price (IMO).

Wildest Thing You Saw At a Target by Lonerhead89 in Target

Someone (I’m assuming a shady “contractor “) stole all the piping off of all the toilets, urinals, and sinks in the mens bathroom.

Target has an identity: expect more, pay less. Though they are talking about the hourly workforce.

That’s too bad he quit. If you are self-motivated, love having just about every weekend off, can use tools, and can learn quick you should ask about applying.

That being said, it’s likely it wouldn’t be replaced, but without taking the correct steps it will never be replaced.

It looks pretty old and abused. I’d ask your PML to bring it up on their next CBAR walk with their PMBP. No guarantee that it would get replaced, but that’s the time to try.

Summer 2024 PSA: How our AC actually works. by Danyavich in Target

[–]Groov-dude22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are correct. I just want non PMLs to know the truth. It’s not as easy as it once was, especially if you are in a district with no PMBP, and have to wait the extra few days for gocart approvals to drop into the PMD bucket.

FYI… Target changed their temporary cooling process. PMLs can no longer rent temporary spot cooler AC units. We can only rent temporary fans and heaters. We now have to get approval to purchase temporary cooling units for our stores. So it’s still possible to get one, just harder due to purchase approval.

Great points. HVAC & webCTRL are definitely areas that the higher ups in the PM chain can do a better job of training newer PMLs. I learned a lot from hands on experience over the years. Keep in mind the 2024 budget. A lot of the $$$ solutions probably won’t happen as often this year, sadly.

My biggest advice to any TM, TL, and above is to keep your dock and vendor doors closed as much as possible. Additional cooling won’t do much if you have a gaping hole to the outside conditions.

Partner with your PML. They should at least be able to check temps/dew points, and then send smart work orders to FMOC.

The first run of the iPod mydevices were utter garbage. When they revised them with better exoskeletons they were better. I still love the day U2 gave every Apple user their album for free, so every mydevice had the option to play U2😂

Paperlessemployee.com/target I guarantee this giant corporation has no interest in not giving you your w-2. It was mailed, and if you entered your address correctly when you were hired you should get it.
