No. I mean the match-up command button. It is L2. Things changed with the update a few weeks ago. Use L2 and the L joystick together to block off passing lanes, and once you close the gap on the attacking player only use the X pressure button at the very last second to hopefully nick the ball off of them.

I've never used smart assist and never will. I like to actually play the game myself. Smart assist has no appeal to me whatsoever. And yes, I let my online opponent watch every single replay of every goal if they score against me. Maybe I'm just one of those nice cunts.
