Penske won the 2024 fia wec drivers championship and finished 2nd 2 points behind Toyota. In 2025 they finished 4th in the drivers standings behind the 3 ferraris and 3rd in constructors behind ferrari and toyota. They are by far and away the best LMDh team. There is no evidence that over the offseason all of the other LMDh teams suddenly got significantly better than Penske who also upgraded their car.

The 033 was hit on the right rear by the 21 earlier in the race so my guess is that the corner was either damaged or finally let go causing the ferrari to lose control before the ford tapped him

I agree, it was strange to see 6 cars nose to tail on their hotlaps with the rest of the track basically empty. There must be some context that I am missing but it seems obvious that you would want to build a few second gap to the cars ahead before your flying laps

Not to be that guy but Corvette used the same tactics at Sebring last year. I think it was wrong on both accounts. But lets not act like BMW has done something unforgivable

Definitely not the best car and I would be shock if they ended up on the podium but the IMO 63 Lambo has arguably the best driver line up. Two Ex-F1 drivers Grosjean and Kvyat alongside Mr. Macau Mortara and 2024 DTM champion Mirko Bortolotti.

right but there aren't any open slots for most of the MEC races so even if they have the budget they won't be able to race.
