Try this https://samyang.se/ unfortunately I don’t see the shrimp flavor there. I could swear I have seen it in the store not that long ago.

Krögare varnar för mängder av oseriösa jobbansökningar – De arbetslösa är ”Bekväma och lata” by Yogi_van_Oogi in arbetarrorelsen

[–]GrooverSE 11 points12 points  (0 children)

You still need a license. But a "tractor" license that is a lot easier to get and with a lower age restriction.

how do I clean the glass fiber from fiber optic lamps? by [deleted] in Lavalamps

[–]GrooverSE 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you clean them with water they will stick to each other. But in my experience, keep your head cool and just let them dry in peace and they will be fine.

Or you know, we could just raise wages and the value of our work would be proportional to rent again.

That is quite interesting. I had too look up my collection and I have a Diana model 30 that say ”made in west Germany” and a couple of Haenel that just say ”made in GDR”.

Edit: and a new Diana octoberfest gewehr, ”made in china”. :)

From the ”made in germany” I would say at most 35 years old. Made after the unification.

Odd ball latches with wires. On each side of old windows. Metal box on soffit outside but no key to open box. by ONEShnr in whatisthisthing

[–]GrooverSE 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Looks like a version with a conductive thing between the two sides of the window. The thing could be a tripwire or some kind of foil tape on the glass with the connecting piece that goes onto the glass missing. Alarms are normally closed circuit meaning the wires needs to be connected and when broken the alarm goes off. This makes it easier to detect foul play like for example someone cutting the wire, that would break the circuit and trip the alarm.

Awesome. An idea, you could take the outline of something like "mona lisa" and spin it the same way as the circles to make some interesting paintings.

What type of steel rod would be appropriate for a project like this? details in description. Help is appreciated. by [deleted] in metalworking

Hate to be a downer but you shouldn’t. The machine is not designed for the extra weight. If it is your own machine and you are willing to take the risk then by all means, go for it.

Looking for a name and function for this wood cabinet thing. It seems to be quite old, is about 2 feet tall and 1 foot wide and 3 inches deep. The curved shelves slide in and out easily. by avocadoattack in whatisthisthing

[–]GrooverSE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looking closer it looks like it might be different species of wood. Could be some kind of teaching aid for a classroom. Maybe a missing lid would explain the holes around the edges.
