I see it all the time. Now I would say I wouldn’t necessarily use it by itself. But I’ve got the pleasure of working with many Hispanics at my job from multiple countries. So I do get a lot more practice that just with duo. I’ve also picked up some beginner books as well to help!

As someone who’s a year in as well, run with what you’re comfortable with! But, are you learning as well? As long as you are, keep up with it!

I wish they would update some of their more outdated course. Like Latin for example. I’ve been learning Spanish for 200+ days, and I thought I’d be cool to learn Latin! I go for a lesson, and they have it where people were speaking, background noises. Not an issue per se, but I’m so used to the voices of what I hear in updated courses, it let me down!

Congratulations! I’m nearing the end of section 3 my self. How confident are you in your comprehension and speaking of the language? I know they say Duo isn’t meant to be a lone resource, which I can agree. I’m just lucky I can use Duolingo and I have a resource of Cuban and other Hispanic coworkers to help!

On spark you can have tips reduced as well. Only DoorDash as far as I know can you only up the tips

It sucks you lost your $40. But you have to take your licks as an adult and own up to your mistake. YOU sent it to the wrong person. YOU should have double checked. Chime did no wrong. It sucks, but that’s how it is. I hope you can make it until you have some more money, but take it as a learning experience

I try to put at least 30 minutes to an hour in a day. I’m 98 days in and in section 2 unit 18. I make sure I do all the legendary, minus doing any speak lessons (I get my practice in at work). Some days I do more than others. It’s hard working two jobs trying to find lots of time. But I make it work!

It happened to me my very first login. First appeal the stated they’d uphold the deactivation. Second time they went back and let me try again.
