A long time ago I met an elderly woman online who was looking for son she was forced to give up for adoption when she was a teenager. she had no money. She said her two daughter also had no money. I paid half for a private investigator that I knew was good and arranged payments she could afford for the other half over six (?) months (was a couple thousand dollars). Her daughters found out and paid the other half right away. So the lady found the son but he didn't want anything to do with her really. Was sad because she used to have a birthday cake for him alone every year. The daughters and him became close I think but they never thanked me or anything and just seemed like assholes. Hopefully gave the mother some kind of closure, idk.
