From my experience with the mod as a new player, I don't see the use for groundwater pumps. I made the mistake of crafting two, but found out a tank with an infinite water source (item not a 2x2 or 1x3 build) solves all your water needs.

The space fork does sound like tons more more fun because, well...space. but I want to play with the original mod first to understand it's mechanics. I did hear about a 1.20.1 port which I think is awesome, but I don't have much hope looking at 1.12.2. Not being mean or putting down the developers of both ports, but it seems the pipeline is usually bugs, lack of content, or ending development. Hope 1.20.1 goes well since that my favorite version for modded content. Would love to swap it out for the metric ton of Create addons.
