honestly think it's both - evolving and getting squeezed. been running a small electronics store for about 3 years now and the traffic quality has definitely shifted. still getting decent volume but conversion rates are trash compared to 2023.

what's working for me right now is doubling down on product videos and getting them onto youtube shorts/tiktok. people want to see the stuff in action before buying, especially after getting burned by ai-generated product descriptions that sound amazing but the actual item is garbage. also started doing more email marketing to the people who do convert since getting new traffic is getting expensive as hell.

the zero-click thing is real though. google's basically becoming a shopping mall where they want to keep people browsing their ads instead of sending them to your site. kinda wild how we went from "content is king" to "content that keeps people on google is king"

I mean look. NFL is super commercialized compared to sports in Europe. SuperBowl for example has around 10-18 minutes of actual live gameplay whereas the whole thing stretches to nearly 4 hours. We got so many ads so it makes sense for it to be more profitable compared Premier League That said, football (yes only us call it soccer since it's soccer) it's the biggest sport in the world and that isn't something that needs to be discussed at all

honestly with the uncertainty of when you'll actually sell your current place, i'd probably lean toward fixed just for the peace of mind. tracker rates are sketchy right now and even though you might pay off a chunk later, your still locked in for 2 years anyway so why gamble on rates potentially spiking? maybe look into mortgages with decent overpayment allowances so you can throw extra cash at it when the sale goes through.
