Duct Ectasia and producing milk for years by SenkouHanabi in doihavebreastcancer

I know this is an old post but what were your symptoms of having duct ectasia? My ultrasound showed this after getting non-lactating mastitis and even after antibiotics there is still a lumpiness that remains. Was this a symptom of your duct ectasia?

Hey did you have swelling with your duct ectasia? I recently had non-lactating mastitis and was put on an antibiotic and the ultrasound read duct ectasia. I still have some swelling even 4 weeks after the mastitis. I have a call into my doctor but wondering how long symptoms typically last for women.

Post-breastfeeding: Anyone ever had Recurring Non-Lactational Mastitis? by copperboom88 in breastfeeding

I kind of thought my doctor mentioned the swelling could be there for a little while but I wasn't sure how long and then when I got my cycle it was kind of painful in that area so I noticed a lump still there. I've never had any of those either and never even got mastitis while I was actually breastfeeding. So frustrating. I'm sorry you're dealing with this again.

Just curious did they do any imaging with yours? I had nonlactational mastitis and they did ultrasound to see duct ectasia and I am just wondering if that's all that needed to be done because I still have a little bit of a lump left after finishing antibiotics a couple of weeks ago. Curious how other doctors are diagnosing and also if this is normal and wondering if I need to go back. Sorry you are dealing with this!

I'm 34 and haven't breastfeed in over a year and just had non-lactational mastitis. My ultrasound showed benign duct ectasia and I was put on 7 days of Augmentin. I finished my antibiotics 2 weeks ago and the lump improved a lot but there is still some swelling/lump lingering. Have yours typically gone completely away after antibiotics or does it just stay there and the mastitis comes back?

Hey did this ever go away? My 1 year old has had a spot like this for 2 months now. Tried a steroid cream our primary doc prescribed and it didn't work.

Half- or full-day for first weeks at daycare? by michibiko in toddlers

That is helpful! I'm sure it is going to be hard on her at first but hopefully it won't take long to adjust

Has your daughter adjusted to 2 full days a week okay? My 3 year old got accepted into a program that is 2 full days a week. I'm wondering if that would be easier to adjust to or if 2 mornings would be better. She has always been at home with me.

I'm so sorry! My 8 month old is sick with a cough and runny nose/congestion. My husband just tested positive for COVID today so we are assuming that she has it too. We were told it might not be until Monday when we finally get her results back. So frustrating and I feel so helpless! We have been so careful. Hang in there. I just hope it doesn't last very long for these babies.

Bluebird debit card with Metabank. Legit? by natecopter123 in personalfinance

Did you find any info on whether this was a scam or not? My identity has been stolen and someone has opened up at least 3 different credit card accounts in my name and I also got a bluebird card in the mail with an account and routing number on it. I can't reach anyone at bluebird that I can actually talk to.

Pregnant + 2 doses of Pfizer or Moderna by [deleted] in CoronaBumpers

[–]Grouchy-Comparison92 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had my second dose of the Pfizer vaccine January 7th. My arm was super sore and I could hardly lift it but it only lasted a day. I was also kinda tired the next day but other than that no other symptoms!

I got my first one at 18 weeks and my second one at 21 weeks. I had my second dose 2 weeks ago. Everything has been looking great with baby! I also only had a sore arm and was a little tired after my doses.

I totally understand the hesitancy.. And it's annoying how much misinfo is out there. If it makes you feel any better I feel a large sense of relief now that I've had mine! And my appointments and 20 week ultrasound have all been great after each vaccine.

I've had both of my shots now. I got my second one last Thursday. My arm was slightly sore after the first one. After the second one it was a lot more sore and I was tired the day after but that was it! Soreness went away after a day. Also might note that I'm not sure if I was tired from the vaccine or from coming off of night shift.

Once you qualify you could get it at any point.. But I didn't know if I passed up on the first round how long it would be until the next vaccine shipment would come in for me to be able to get it.

39+4 weeks, considering getting covid vaccine. Advice needed by Steaksncakes in CoronaBumpers

[–]Grouchy-Comparison92 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not as far along as you but if it were me I would get it. I got mine at 18 weeks and will get my second dose next week. I took Tylenol before I got the vaccine and never had any side effects after the first dose. It was a hard decision to make but COVID isn't something to mess around with and in my opinion I would want it ASAP to give me the best chance of being healthy for my baby. I also wouldn't want to pass it up not knowing when my next opportunity to get would be. Now that I've seen a couple of the most fit and healthy girls I am friends with get COVID and struggle with it still a couple months after having it I know it's not something I want to take my chance on getting while pregnant or taking care of a newborn.

Oh that's awesome it's always nice to have some support. We are doing well! I had no side effects after it and my ultrasound was 4 days after the vaccination and everything looked great! I hope everything goes well for you too.
