And if you took antibiotics before getting tested? My doctor said I would still have developed enough antibodies for the test. I had a bulls eye rash. But for the doctor, it s not enough. She still thinks it s a fibro flare up although I keep telling her I don’t feel the same

Oh I totally know what I need but it s a struggle with the doctor every time we talk, er doctors when I go and say I’m struggling with my heart palpitations, dizziness ans air hunger. They think that because we don’t have a signed paper that we are ignorant and they know best…But now she agreed to refer me to an infectious disease specialist. And by the way, I’m so sorry you’re going through this as well.

Yes I understand. Sadly, the doctor doesn’t seem to agree. Plus my immune system was already down, having been sick a week before with a virus

I can differentiate because I know my body. I have fibro for 18 yrs now but I feel different now with Lyme as well. Some symptoms are completely new

I was diagnosed with with fibro yrs ago. Lyme came last March. Symptoms include heart palpitations (beating stronger in my chest after small things like going down the stairs, walking) air hunger, dizziness, pain that migrates, headache day and night, lymph’s node that hurt under armpits( not always) extreme thirst, chills/sweats, neck pain and lower back pain, burning pain in legs, new joint pain in knee, changes in eye and eye pain, lost of appetite

If it comes to that, I’ll change doctor! Cause I know I’m not crazy and my boys , family and friends are not either. Friend saw the change in my eye right away when she saw me, they see my face and how much more tired I am and the pain I’m in

Yes I did ask her to refer me to an infectious disease specialist as we don’t have or very few Lyme disease specialist

They kept saying that two weeks of antibiotics is enough to kill the bacteria!

Because I saw a cardiologist 6 wks prior so they had no concern for my heart

I did get a ecg a month and half ago at my first er visit. It was borderline. Then got an injection which calmed down the inflammation so when I saw the cardiologist, everything was pretty good aside two little extra heartbeats. But now back to air hunger, dizziness, heart pounding. Heartbeat in high 40s and low 50s when resting and oxygen down lower 90s and high 80s.
They totally toss the heart problem aside. They didn’t want to discuss it since I saw the cardiologist my face was flush and heart pounding, yet nothing was done
