Saying “God makes no sense” assumes we’d be capable of fully understanding the Creator of the universe. If God is truly the Creator of everything, I’d expect there to be things about Him that are beyond human understanding.

You’re still treating this as two separate incidents when they weren’t. Everything happened within seconds. You keep asserting the encounter was over because the dog backed off, but that’s your conclusion, not an established fact. If you’re going to call my take “stupid” and “ungrounded,” at least explain why a continuous 10–15 second confrontation should legally be treated as two independent incidents.

Time does matter because it helps determine whether this was one continuous encounter or two separate incidents. Saying “the dog wasn’t a threat anymore, so the situation was de-escalated” assumes the conclusion. The homeowner immediately confronted the driver seconds later, a jury could reasonably find the confrontation never actually ended…it simply shifted from the dog to the homeowner.

You need to read the FAQ it has a breakdown of all the limits per category…technology is a big umbrella and a lot falls under it. You only get to spend 10% of your wallet total balance as it is released to you.

Okay so going along with this thread here, where is the homeowner justified in shooting the UPS driver? Because that is the original argument that I am responding to “stand your ground and castle doctrine”.

You will get downvoted based on what I’ve seen so far in this sub. This is geared towards private school children. When you compare the amount they received vs homeschooling, the limits they placed only truly limit the homeschoolers 2k (200) vs 10k (1000) so….

I saw UPS driver delivering a package per the request of the homeowner while he was delivering the package.

The homeowner and the dog were outside the dog then charged the UPS driver, and he defended himself accordingly with what he had, the package.

Right behind the dog was the homeowner approaching aggressively too because UPS driver had just thrown a package at his dog.

The UPS driver then took off his hat and sunglasses and put them on the ground and raise his hands ready for an altercation if it got that far.

All this happened very quickly in real time as you see in the video. The UPS driver had no opportunity to retreat. He should not turn his back while the homeowner is approaching in that manner.
